I would love to know how you even got that far. I just got arrested for stealing a fraking box of chocolate bars after a few find cash and pirating warm up crimes. I haven't got arrested for two weeks keeping my crime attempts on the lower end of the scale and now I get arrested, screwing any progress I had made. I don't see how it is ever going to be possible to have more enough nerve to do anything beyond pirating. I'm ready to quit this game.

I would say attack back, but when I was in the same boat as you're in now, I wasn't allowed to.

If this is your outlook of a game, your job must be absolute hell.

I have to chime in about the comments that talk about attention spans and no one wanting to work for anything. Obviously I can't speak for anyone else, but I for one, am here just to have some mindless entertainment. That is the whole point of gaming for me. Life is constant work and drudgery, why would I actually pay for more work and drudgery? I like the game because I don't have to follow a strict path and can put into it what I have the time, money, and desire to do. That said, Torn certainly can take hours of your time each day, lots of money, and require very strategic, long term thinking(which I suck at IRL), but it doesn't have to. Honestly, as much as I struggle with just trying to succeed at shoplifting, I can understand how people get bored or annoyed. I agree with some of the others, I just kind of do it out of habit(and I've only been playing for a couple months and am at level 9).

Getting mugged and put into the hospital is a part of the game, so fine, but since someone twice my level can attack me and put me in the hospital, it would be nice if I could RETURN an attack on someone else who is the same level as me and has repeatedly attacked me. It makes no sense. All I'm asking for is a little consistency.
