Am I just blind, or is there only two types of pants (that are considered armor)? It doesn't make sense, considering that there are 11 types of torso armors, 6 types of helmets, 3 types of gloves, and 3 types of boots (although gloves and boots could use more too, pants need new ones the most). Leather pants provide almost no protection and are dirt cheap. Combat pants are really good, but are over 3,000,000. There needs to be at least 1 new type of pants, considering there are only two of them.

I just bought a certificate of lame on the auction store for a couple thousand. It says in the description "This Certificate of Lame can be presented at any pharmacy in exchange for a bottle of vodka, sleeping pills, and medicinal suicide grenades." I can't find a way to redeem it and the people in Global and Trade chats that I've asked so far have all said it cant be redeemed. Did I just waste my money and it's completely useless, or is there actually a way to redeem it?

Let's just make it simple and fair by giving it a 50/50 probability. It'll make it more balanced, and even if you don't care about balancing, 47/53 isnt going to make a big difference.

Maybe. But it shouldn't change your battle stats, only your hospital stay, since a large part of being in the hospital is not having access to many of the things you can normally. Though maybe not, since it could be interpreted as you not being stuck in a hospital bed not able to move. I'm going to think about it a bit longer before I make a rating.

Good point. Maybe a 15 minute lockout of all new players in only global chat and trade chat with a message like "Your message has not been sent because your account is less than 15 minutes old. Please go to New Chat (The chat with the leaf symbol on it). You can use [Global/Trade] chat in [time] minutes." Or maybe a longer time, since they would be able to use new chat from the start.

Kevlar Jeans sound pretty cool. Maybe also motorcyclist pants too. Maybe even a whole motorbike rider armor set to go along with the pre-existing motorcycle helmet (the only motorcycle gear in torn). Obviously both would be better than leather but worse than combat pants.

Seeing spam has never been an issue for me. Like Bogie said earlier, new players are more likely to just log off. If they log in and can genuinely start chatting with their peers then they're more likely to stay.

Yeah. That sounds fun. Maybe an event (and maybe also pop-up) screen something like 1Glao said: YOU HAVE WITNESSED Atwalshart ATTACKING N00b123 USING STEALTH. and the attacker and attacked both get something tagged along the end of their event saying who the witness is if there was one. It would allow the witness to sell the name of the attacker to the attacked, the attacker to pay the witness to not tell, the attacked to pay the witness to tell them the name, the witness to take money from both sides, and many other situations. And both the attacker and attacked are notified in the attack event. And obviously the chance of that happening goes down, but there's always a small chance (even if it's just 1%) of that happening even if they have the highest stealth to add realism. Maybe just one or two witnesses, since it IS a stealth attack. That would open up chances for much more interaction and role-play, along with adding more realism. There could be two separate "newspapers", one that is the normal paper that is unchanged from how it is now and another one on the computer that has a search and/or sort function (the logic behind only Ctrl + F is flawed, since it could be a website. And a search and/or sort function could be implemented on a website. look at walmart.com for example, you dont have pages of their items listed alphabetically, but a search bar to search. They could be shown in pages on a website and also have a search/sort function). Of course, that would make the normal newspaper obsolete. You could make it to where you can only access the site with the computer, but that would just make it inconvenient making the new one pointless. sorry about how wordy this is. Not yet rated.
