Even though I agree that right now the investment might not be worthwile. But if I'm not mistaken these payouts are not limited to just a block's worth.
Meaning if you get one billion worth of stock your payout will be relative to that. So if you get just the block's worth the payout will be completely useless but if you invest a large amount the payout will be alot more interesting.
