Pepper spray is listed as reducing dexterity to 1/5th for 20 seconds, which on the tin sounds like an incredible boon - someone equal your stats fighting you and losing 80% of their dexterity sounds like it'd make you practically unhittable.
The in fight stat UI also reflects the 80% reduction when pepper spray is used, so it's not a typo in the description.
However I've been using pepper spray recently and found it makes absolutely zero difference. Speed is by far my strongest stat at the moment, yet someone with apparently 20% of their normal dexterity can consistently hit me just the same.
Is pepper spray broken or am I overestimating the impact of having 20% of your dexterity in a fight? Xanax debuffs seem to make an enourmous difference to combat effectiveness, but pepper spray does not.
I've noticed that on two separate occasions tonight, every profile I click on has the chat crossed out and it says "x has blocked you" where x is the username.

The user in question has not been online in the last 14h, so they couldn't have changed anything. During the time when the first image was taken, all other user profiles I clicked on had the exact same thing. No one seems to know what it is.

If Ched doesn't wanna change anything it's kinda out of our hands. The community in general doesn't really have any tools to help moderate rules during ranked wars - at best I forsee coming to agreements pre-war but that still relies on both parties being interested in the same principles.
Sounds a little 'abdicating of responsibility' for the creator or w/e of the game to say they won't change game mechanics to make it more interesting/fair/whatever but that's kind of besides the point.
As a member of said faction, I would rather Gracie use all means necessary to win us the war and get us some goodies than whatever 'confidence' not doing so implies.
Bounties are an intended game mechanic and allowed within war, there's no strong argument that they shouldn't be used or are somehow unfair. If you have an issue with them being used in a way that they are obviously reasonably intended to be used, petition the developers. Otherwise you're just complaining that a faction didn't nerf its own ability to fight in a war because of your personal(faction) principles, no?
