Useful things I can do when hospitalized? · · 2 likes

I'm going to get put inside the hospital alot because my best friend keeps putting bounties on me.
So now I can't use the gym or make any progress for a while.
Or can I?
Is there anything useful I can do while I'm stuck?

Channel Zero: Candle Cove

Hello friends and people who claim not to be my friends.
While the Halloween season is coming to an end,
I'd like to start a conversation about a show that has caught my attention.

I think a lot of us are familiar with American Horror Story.
FX's most popular show. A show that is more often a weird drama than an actual horror show.
Although it's really putting in effort this season.

Well this season SyFy is trying to create it's own horror anthology series.
It's called Channel Zero and it's first season's subtitle is Candle Cove.

People who know their internet culture will know that Candle Cove is an internet horror story (Creepypasta)
about a group of people remembering a show from their childhood.
At the end of the story one of them says that his mother told him he
was watching static and that Candle Cove never existed.

Being based on one of the few Creepypastas I really like I decided to check it out.
I'm 3 episodes in and I have to say it's only a little creepy, but really, really weird.

It decides to take the original concept of candle cove and add a mass murder link to it.
The show centers around a character named Mike who returns to his
home town where a lot of kids got murdered when he was young.
But as soon as he arrives the entire nightmare starts all over again.

I'm not going to spoil what happens but I will tell you how I feel about what I've seen up until this point.

The series focuses on psychological horror and feels like a bad trip.
There are a lot of quiet stretched out moments,
and there is often also a very random jump to weird imagery and flashbacks.
It sometimes feels like it just put scenes into a blender.

But honestly, It is an interesting show although it feels stretched and could've just been a movie instead.

But enough of my opinions, I want to know what you think.

Well I don't care much to be honest. But Torn's developers should care. What's to point in buying another donator pack next month I can't do anything?

It feels like they are sacrificing their typical style this season, so it looks more like a typical horror movie.

Not sure how I feel about it.

But I like the mid-season twist and feel another one coming.
