So, I want to clarify the reasons behind the forfeit. The forfeit happened as a result of 2 mistakes. The first being the obvious one by Drew exposing us to Onlleh. From there, the majority of people followed the obvious choice of starting to try people in the list which would start to reveal us 1 by 1.
At this point, I made the decision with the approval of Drew and I think also 7shadow to kill CMAl. Unfortunately he wasn’t on at the time so we didn’t get his opinion and I feel bad for that. Additionally, I had been joking the entire game in the mafia discord about killing a teammate, so it unintentionally seemed like I was out to kill him since the beginning and of the game.
From here, I then did some calculations and realized that even if I survived bein killed and everyone else on the list was killed off, it would be a 1v5 or 6 which would be almost impossible to win as everyone would still be somewhat sus of me. If I hadn’t killed CMAl, we could have gotten the game down to about a 1v2 or 3.
After realizing that we/ I made this second mistake, and seeing the near impossibility of winning, we voted and decided to forfeit as it would be a waste of our time to continue trying to win. Which is why we forfeited. After the decision to forfeit is when I began trolling in the chat. (So you can see about when we decided to forfeit :P)
Anyways, it was a good game and I had fun playing with you all.
Your right, your right, my apologies. I tend to get very emotional when it comes to him. He murdered my granddad for the inheritance, and got away with it because he bribed the KGB Stormtroopers. I can never forgive him for that, and I hope one day he is brought to justice by the law. Again, my apologizes blight.
Shoot! Are you kidding me! My does my evil stepbrother Doctor-JP get to join into the game but i'm not allowed? He didn't even ask to sign up! I call bias, this is unjust Blight. How could you do that to me?
Potentially, but from my experience, two islands doesn’t have enough dirt to tarmac ratio. The only ones I try to race on are Hammerhead, Stone park, Parkland, and mudpit. For the first 3, I can get some racing points from them every now and then, but for two islands, I got like 5th or 6th place every time I tried it so I gave up on that one. Still, as you mentioned, I would recommend trying out two islands for anybody that is stuck in the same predicament. Maybe you will have better luck than I will.
So yeah, as you mentioned, trying to use the Cosworth in class A is not fun. I would highly recommend trying to get an actual Class A car for racing in Class A. If you are someone like me though, the cosworth might be all you have. I didn’t follow a proper guide for car upgrades and raising my racing Class so I was stuck in Class C for a bit. I managed to scrounge enough racing points for the cosworth and now that is the only thing I have in Class A.
To address what you have said about only being able to race on Mudpit. I would agree that mudpit is your best shot for gaining racing points, but I would also recommend racing on any map that has dirt. Although it is unlikely, every now and then I can get a 3rd place on those maps to get a racing point. It helps so that I’m not resetting all day every day hoping for a mudpit.
First of all Ana, good luck at BCT. First 72 and red phase will probably make you hate yourself, but you’ll get through it. You’re going to meet a wide range of people there, and trust me, you’re probably gonna hate 95% of them by the end of it all. Just stay focused, do the right thing, don’t get complacent, don’t get into fights, and unless absolutely necessary don’t go to sick call. I’ve seen too many people get recycled because they went to sick call for minor things, get out on profile, and then miss a bunch of graduation requirements.
Take things one day at a time, and try to remember why you’re doing this (I hope you have a reason). While marching to chow each day will probably be annoying, I guarantee that the hardest part of basic (unless you’re unlucky and put in a difficult battery), will be the ruck marches and FTX’s. Once you get into basic you will understand a bit more of what I mean, but of the 3 FTX’s that you will do, the Anvil (second one), will probably be the easiest. This is because you will have started to get used to rucking and hopefully have found what packing and tightening method works for you. When it comes to the Forge (last FTX), good luck. That’s just 3 days of suck, and you will be wishing for it to end every second of the rucks. Hopefully you enjoy the battle drills and mock battles though.
If you have relatives who plan on sending you items, make sure that they don’t send you any contraband (like snacks, disposable cameras, any products like hand sanitizer or mouthwash that aren’t alcohol free). Don’t try and sneak food into the barracks, you will get caught. If they issue you 2 sleeping bags, put one in your ruck and sleep in the other one on top of your sheets. That way when you wake up at 4:30 in the morning, you won’t have to make your bed.
I know I said a lot of random things, but mostly just try and enjoy the few enjoyable moments when they come (like throwing live hand grenades).
Also, if you have social media, don’t put something like Army soldier or Navy Sailor in your bio because supposedly your get sent random messages from suspicious potentially foreign people. Idk about that though cause I don’t really use social media, just something I heard.
As for why I quoted JoeSkull, that’s because Ana saying what their MOS is could very well be doxing themself, especially if their MOS is one what goes to OSUT and not AIT. This is because it would allow someone to identify which Fort they were at for BCT. In addition, because they said the approximate time of attending BCT, someone could narrow down and identify potentially which battery they are in and (if they knew the layout of the buildings), which part of a building they would be in for the next 3 months. For example, if we take the MOS that SecondEden is betting on Ana being, 11B, we know that 11B almost always attend OSUT at Fort Benning. From there, we can find that the 1-19, 1-50, 2-19, 2-47, 2-54, and 2-58 battalions are training battalions. Then, you would just have to search for each of the batteries in these battalions social media pages and find when they last received a new group of trainees. Then, as I mentioned, you would not only know the region that they are in, but could potentially narrow it down to 1 or 2 parts of a building that they would be in. As for going to AIT instead of OSUT, you might not be able to identify where they are going for BCT, but you will definitely know which fort they are going to for AIT, and you can approximate the timing of when they should arrive there. Therefore, it’s best to only share your MOS online once you graduate AIT or even once you leave the military.
TLDR: Ana saying what their MOS is would most likely be DOXing themself.
Malapropism is derived from the word Malaprop, which holds the exact same meaning. The only difference is when the word is used. For example, “Malapropism” is the idea/ concept of using an incorrect but similar sounding word in place of another (intended word). Meanwhile, the action of doing such a thing would be called a “Malaprop”. Examples of these two words would be:
The speakers malapropisms made evident how nervous they were in front of the judges.
While hanging out, my friend made a malaprop that had the whole group laughing.
Vittu = Finish swear word equivalent to “f**k” and holds the meaning of female sexual organs (pussy). Perative is similar to the word “imperative” (meaning important or vital for something to occur or to be done). Therefore Vituperative is like Vittu Imperative or someone thinking it is very important to swear at someone.
Also, I would like to apologize for insulting anyone if I ever guessed what they were doing and called it a “bad play” or said that they had “bad gameplay”. I used these words while thinking about how I would have maybe done things as a mafia, which would be a very conservative play style. This is the in contrast to the more aggressive play style that the mafia team took this game, and it was not my intention to ever insult anyone if I did. Once again, great game everyone.
Second, I really enjoyed the concept. It was much different than the majority of games and it was a nice spin. One thing to note though, is that I believe it takes a very involved and knowledgeable game master to run this style of game. I think Denmon did a great job with it.
Jhay Day1: Chess (Townie) Day 2: Doghead (Townie) Day 3: No vote Day 4: Valkyrie (Mafia)
Zgreek Day 1: S2K (unknown) Day 2: DrZed (Mafia) Day 3: S2K (unknown) Day 4: Jhay (unknown)
S2K Day 1: Zakattack (unofficial green) Day 2: DrZed (Mafia) Day 3: CreatorX (unofficial green) Day 4: Jhay (unknown)
While I have compiled this information, the most important part of it is to examine the circumstances surrounding each vote.
Beginning with Jhay, the vote on chess was an early vote and was one of the many random early game votes. There was not any particular reasoning for it nor was there any need for reasoning. For their second vote on Doghead, the vote was initially on Onlleh but after clarifying a misunderstanding, it was moved to Doghead due to suspicions over not using the RB ability (there was a lengthy discussion that eventually found Doghead justified in not using the ability, but I don’t know if it was before or after Jhay’s vote. DAY 3 was a no vote from Jhay, and Day 4 was a vote for Valkyrie. On Day 4, Jhay’s reasoning was that the only possibilities to vote for was Jhay, Rainbiw, and Valkyrie, and since rainbow didn’t seem sus, they voted for Valkyrie, and this was an early vote on Valkyrie. In conclusion, we can say that Although Jhay has voted for more confirmed townies than the other 2, they had consistently performed early votes, mostly stuck with their decision and not hopped around when they like someone else’s decision better, and (although their recent post seems very defensive, have generally had a very solid voting pattern.
Moving on to Zgreek, they began with a Day 1 vote on S2K. On Day 1, Zgreek initially voted for Onlleh on a gut feeling before switching to voting for S2K because they wanted to kill off a player that seemed to be less active. On day 2, Zgreek initially voted for me due to suspicions they began having on Day 1. After understanding a bit more of my play style, they swapped to voting for Onlleh. I don’t know exactly when they voted, but I believe that Onlleh had 3 or more votes at some point in time. Afterwards, Zgreek removes their vote from Onlleh and immediately voted for DrZed. The reasoning given for this is that they put their trust in me (Doctor-GP) based on what I assume was my logical and thorough approach to trying to determine mafia members and assist the town. For Day 3, Zgreek once again voted for S2K. This vote was because the only person they were slightly suspicious of was S2K. No further explanation was given. Finally, for Day 4, zgreek voted for Jhay. Initially, zgreek had voted for Rainbowsaurus because he was suspicious about rainbow not using the vigilante ability when they had the chance. After Rainbow gave a defense that was satisfactory to Zgreek, zgreek switched to voting for Jhay. The reasoning given was that Jhay was the only other person zgreek was suspicious about. While it can be noted that the suspicion of S2K they had over the last few days had disappeared, it must be acknowledged that Valk had cop claimed S2K green and therefore nobody had much reason to suspect them on that day. In conclusion, Zgreek is prone to swapping votes several times but these are mostly after receiving a satisfactory defense by the individual. Due to this, all of Zgreeks votes seem to have been based off of impressions or listening to others.
Finally, S2K is the last to be examined. On Day 1, voted for Zakattack (Ik it was Jimi, but zak is the replacement so that’s what call them) based on inactivity. On Day 2, S2K was a bit active in the first 30 hours of the day, before (I assume based on their comment) having irl stuff to attend to for about 17 hours and areiving within the last hour of the day to skim everything and hop on the bandwagon of voting for DrZed. Based on the post made at the time, S2K was well aware that they were jumping on a bandwagon and was doing so in an attempt to help FG. Day 3 was a big day for S2K due to how talkative they were. They begin the day by pointing out very good criticisms about me, but ultimately they are left alone because I found a mafia member. Initially, there is a vote given for pinkie without any explanation. After being called out for not given any explanation, they claim to have done it to see who would hop on the bandwagon (since there wasn’t any good reason to be voting pinkie). This is then used as reasoning for switching to voting CreatorX who hopped on the bandwagon without reason. Something to note is that at that moment in time, S2K and Valk were the only ones voting for CreatorX. Although, they did have valid explanations, the reason this is interesting is because of the following day, day 4. On Day 4, S2K initially voted for Rainbow before getting into a minor argument with them about if the vigilante ability should have been used. S2K then cites popular opinion not being on their side to switch votes to Jhay who is someone they are also suspicious of. This is once again an instance where S2K followed Valkyrie in making a vote on someone. While there was reasoning given for voting CreatorX, neither Valkyrie or S2K gave further explanation other than being suspicious of Jhay. In conclusion, S2K is also prone to switching votes but not as much as Zgreek. While they have made strong logical points about things, there are also strange points like following Valkyries vote twice, or switching in the last few seconds of the day off of the person who is about to be voted out, onto another person creating a tie (and lowering the odds of the tie ending with a no lynch).
If I missed anything about voting patterns or info, please let me know. This took me 2 hours to make and it’s currently 2am my time. So I hope someone found this info helpful.
edit: there is 1037 words in this post not including this edit. I wonder how many posts ever reached this length in a mafia game XD
Y’all gotta get ready, I’m currently preparing my largest wall post yet. Idk if I’m gonna cover stuff like player decision making, but I’m currently examining voting history, voting reasoning, and circumstances surrounding the votes made by each player on every single day (for our 3 suspicious people).
To put this in perspective. We have 3 confirmed townies and 3 suspicious people. If we kill 2 people each day, then we have 2 day phases, remaining including this day, until a mafia win. With equal numbers right now, we could kill off 1 suspicious person each day and have a 2/3’s chance of winning as a town. By delaying a day, you would remain with 2 confirmed and 3 suspicious people, and then instead of ending on a night kill, you would be ending on a day kill. So yes, we would technically get 1 more day to acquire information, but we are also sacrificing our confirmed individuals for the CHANCE that Denmon will give someone a useful role. This also creates opportunities for the mafia to falsify a role claim and force the vote to come to something like a 50/50 decision.
A correction to this. When I voted for DrZed, I believe there was 3 votes on somebody else and I was the second vote on DrZed. ZGreek then removed their vote on the other person and a bit later voted for DrZed since they claimed to agree with and like my reasoning. In this way, Zgreek was the deciding vote for DrZed and S2K just jumped on the bandwagon afterwards.
Edit: deletion of post because I made an incorrect statement and leaving it might cause confusion. I thought zak had posted the wrong vote count when they had not.
edit: yes, I got the same role 2 nights in a row. Yes, the messages looked exactly the same when Denmon sent them to me. And yes, Denmon confirmed to me in mail last night that I was indeed the role blocker again and it was not a mistake on his end.
