This question came up in global chat and, even with several of us looking, none of us could find an answer. How long can someone let their daily upkeep on their property slide until their happy is lowered?

I got this event this morning:

You have won the bet on the NBA Atlantic Division Champions 2016-17 game! You bet $700,000 on Celtics and won $1,283,333! Your check will be held in the bank for up to 24 hours.

Problem is...pretty sure I didn't make this bet. I put all my money in stocks and I don't remember making any bets in a month or so. I could be wrong, but if I'm not I don't want to get in trouble for taking advantage of a glitch.

ah what the hell. i'll sign. elephant facts are better than any other news out there atm.

I recently signed up for Amazon's kindle unlimited and I'm absolutely loving it. It's like visiting the library without having to leave my house. I can "borrow" up to 10 books at a time, which is great considering my reading speed. I'm still in the 30 trial, it's $9.99 per month, but considering how much use I've gotten out of it in just over a week I'll most likely be keeping it.

Chicken Alfredo is usually my go-to when I don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. I generally keep a bag of boneless skinless chicken breasts in the freezer. Just a few minutes in room temp water and they're thawed enough to cut into either strips or small cubes. I put the chicken in a frying pan with a lid with a bit of garlic powder, salt, and pepper and just let it cook in it's own juice then put on water to boil for the pasta while I throw together the sauce; melt 2 Tablespoons salted butter, sometimes I saute some minced garlic in it, whisk in 2 Tablespoons flour until nice and bubble, slowly whisk in 2 cups of whole milk, or evaporated milk for a richer flavor. simmer until it starts to thicken, then add in 1/2 to 1 cup parmesan. By the time the sauce is done, so is the chicken and pasta, so I just toss it all together. It usually only takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on how many time I'm interrupted by a member of my family.
