I decided to go to the hospital to see if anyone was still there after the DB hit, and, well, loads of people have been hospitalised by people (and mauled by dogs or burned in arson attempts, but that's not needed for this post). I'm new, so I don't know how to tell, but is there a faction war going on after the DB detonated? Thanks!

Oh man, I really don't want to find out how badly this affects the game, but holy christ this sounds like it'll be fun. I'm new, so I've never received anything like this, and has the bomb detonated or is it going to soon?

I'm still relatively new to this game, and not really into the gambling. However, I do enjoy RR and I want to play poker, but all the tables are either out of my price range(at around 25 million+ just to join) or are AFK and so won't start, even if I had the cash to join and play. Is there a reason for the high prices, or is it just something for the 'elite', per se? (Also, should this thread be in the Questions and Answers section? It still relates to gambling after all, but IDK. Feel free to move it.)

Hi, I am new to Torn and I have now decided to join a faction. However, the factions I have applied to either haven't responded or accepted me into them. I am looking for a faction that would allow me to join and also not just boot me out if they can get a higher level person to join in my place(I've experienced similar things in other online games so yeah, just thought I would add that in). The stats of the faction, like the cumber, adept, etc. doesn't matter: Any faction would be great. Thanks!

P.S If someone could tell me what 'chaining' is, that'd be great too. Thanks in advance!

You've got a bounty on you. See the target symbol in your status icons(for example, it shows you are male)? That shows you have a bounty on your head. Someone's put it on you for whatever reason, and whatever that reason is, I think it may be because you asked what one is. Basically, you put a bounty on someone as a way to get them hosp'd and the attacker gets paid I'm pretty sure.

Ok, thanks for the reply! That explains why I am not in a faction yet, so I appreciate it! I've figured out what 'chaining' is now, so at least, when I eventually join a faction, I know what I'd need to do lol. Thanks again!

Yeah, I'll give it a shot(not with my guns) when I get the energy to do so. You seem to have loads of recommendations after reading this thread, so why not?
Update: after 2 attacks, I log on to find that I am $400K richer. Bumping, and definitely recommending!

OK, good, because I read the thing about what the bomb does and it says that random players get hospitalised when it blows... I really hope I am not one who is affected lol
