It´s just me or the option for buying a gas can for 100 points is gone from the points building? Is that temporary? I can get the gas can only through the market now?
Problem is that there is no demand for points that much. All that talk about faucets and sinks on the article.
Lets get real, what the pawn shop did was to floor price the value of flower/plushie sets too....
You removed the liquidity of running plushies (wihch is not inflationary because the toil to reward is always the same fixed cost) .
Now, all that you can trade plushies for is points and all you can use points are limited, thus there will be a flood of points bringing price down until the supply of points starts to lower to this new reality.
Problem is, where the heck can i find liquidity in torn now? Where and how can new players bring in networth and pay for growing costs ( gyms, 3 dialy xanax, PI rent or afford a PI etc...)
People where running plushies at a 45 k floor price and where barely making even, what will these players do now? Low stats, low paying jobs, Low CE...
Plushie economy gonna die. There is nowhere to use all the tsunami of points... You can buy 3 reffils a day only anyway, unless you wanna make your enemies list so long that you wanna add all of torn on it...
Seems good, but i tought the 1 star special seems weak, especially when you have 4k happiness as base, 100 plus happiness as a passive seems to do nothing IMO...
Maybe moving the 3 stars special to 1 star and adding in substitution a special about using books or geting a random book by using an insane amount of job points (like 500 JP just to keep them scarce enough),or perhaps making book effects 25 % more effective or make the effect last longer?, there is not a single company with special that affects book usage as far as i know, and i still would not know how that would work with books like "High School For Adults" which just gives a merit resets.
But maybe Ched will not like the idea cause you can only get books by either being a subscriber, mission credits or finding one in the city, maybe the staff might want to keep them scarce to incetivize subscription...
