What a year you've had. To quote Dr Seuss, who knows where you'll go!

"The common argument I see here in response to new revivers having to grind for a long time is that those top revivers have earned it, but have they?
Before, you could unlock the ability to revive, and immediately join a revive faction with 25e revives. You could have done your 2800 revives with every single one at the lowest energy cost, 100% success rate, and payment for each.
Is that 'earning' 100 skill? No, it's luck that you got into the game long before the nerf.
A new player now looking to revive will probably need at least 2000 revives to get decent skill to be wanted. Even if lucky enough to find a faction with 25e revives set (smaller market = less of them), they will fail 5-10% of them for a long time and probably won't get paid. That's 2-3 months of natural energy alone (if donator) they would need to spend solely on revives - sacrificing a huge amount of gym gains for minimal financial compensation. Why would they bother?"
-- Terrorist007 has hit the nail on the head. If I wasn't already reviving I wouldn't waste my time in the medical branch to get the revive skill, and I certainly wouldn't want to grind all that e on fruitless revives.
Further, being able to play healer-type role in my faction has kept me playing here when most of those who got me to join TORN in the first place have left the game years ago.
