Work in a city job or company. Every job increases your manual labor, endurance, and intelligence at varying levels for each daily. The best way to grow it is to have a company owner train you each day which gives you a larger boost than the daily gain.
who should I contact?
My 4 person family has all played Torn at one time and we had no issues, I imagine they have a way to identify people multi-ing vs having different people play together under the same house.

Your number 1 rule to follow is not to draw attention to yourself, especially negative attention. It doesn't take a lot to get a powerful player to decide they don't like you and force you to stop playing.
Unless the company you are currently working for is paying you hundreds of thousands of dollars a day it isn't worth being in at you point in the game, the basic army or grocer job will provide you a lot more benefit for your first year.
Your faction looks like a decent starting faction and as long as they are fairly active should do a good job of introducing you to the basic mechanics of warfare.
For your education make sure you aren't bothering with the general studies education, it won't provide you any real benefit other than merits so prioritize something with more immediate gains, I personally would go for the medical education towards intravenous therapy so you can fill blood bags.
