I find it weird that there are a plethora of ways to enhance your ranged weapons - mostly guns, in the form of attachments - but no improvement options for melee weapons apart from maxing out weapon xp and merits. Felt like a slept-on way of getting a little more from your melee. Perhaps a weapon that keeps your macana sharp, or better center of balance for larger/longer weapons like the spear or katana for improved accuracy.
As for the dog tag event, though a little messy, I believe was a cool way of doing elim, but free-for-all! And I know a lot of players would appreciate a return of dog tags sometime in the future.

20 years?! One of them OGs :D. As a somewhat long-time player, I have to respect those who stick with games long-term, especially since it's founding. What was it like to play Torn during those days? My earliest memory of Torn was when Animal Kingdom was a thing.
My account will be 8 years soon and I'm a filthy casual at level 25, you won't hear me complaining about 'Torn's business model'. Enjoy the game for what is or find something else to waste your time on. We're lucky to have a game paying isn't required to get ahead, even with RW and Elimination. You can't play your cards right tough luck
Looking forward to my first 'BIG' sale, and I'm sure you will too, with hundreds of collectibles (plushies, flowers, etc), plenty of boosters, and the odd weapon or drug, it's gonna be PACKED! Nor to mention a few fairly high end items, including supply packs! With items in virtually every category, you should find at least SOMETHING you like, or I'm the fool who spent $70 mill just to have a good time XD
PS: Miiight sneak in a few points here and there for $1 a pop!
Final edit: I do apologize for not being punctual with my opening. Watched youtube to kill some time and got carried away. As a token of apology I left whatever in the bazaar unchanged; help yourselves to what's available. I'll to work on diligence for next year, when I'm hopefully not as space out. Also check out the points market!
Sorry man/ma'am, but mugging is a large part of how Torn rolls. Don't like it, get better stats, buy protection, or start spamming bounties on whoever you catch. I get mugged all the time, yet I'm slowly improving my profile, finding better ways to make/rake money, and have MULTIPLE WAYS TO SAFELY STORE MONEY WITH FEW IF ANY CAVIATS. Try the bank or try your hand at stocks, maybe give some to your faction (if applicable) or company bank/vault for safekeeping. The trick to not losing thousands of $ is PROPER FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT! Again I, along with damn near every single player (yes even to lvl 100s) get mugged, some more than others, and there's not much you can do to make them stop. Boost your stats, get someone to look out for you, find ways to reduce your cash on person, spam bounties, what-the-£¥€&-ever. Hardly anyone's gonna care whether or not you get mugged, play a sad song on the violin or cry a river over your sorry @$$! It happens to me, happens to everyone, happens all the goddamn time, as it is PART OF THE GAME!
In short either buck up and get over it, or find some other game to play.
And to think his title is "Punchbag" ? Here's to hoping you change it to loser. Props to you for sticking it our, and dishing out some well deserved justice!
