Welcome to the GFX Gladiator Series! Hosted by HS97 and KingABz!

We have 11 participants who’ve all recently started posting in the graphics forum and have been invited to this event to hone their skills, win prizes and ultimately fall in love with the graphics game! 

There will be 8 weeks of challenges, 1 per week. Myself and KingABz will collectively rank the challenge submissions (1st place will get the most points, 2nd place fewer, last place the least, etc) based solely on our own opinions on the GFX.

We each have a ‘golden buzzer’ too, where we will each grant a bonus 5 points to our chosen standout - this can be for any reason. 

This first week, there will be no eliminations so it’s a chance to get points on the board! From week 2, the bottom of the leaderboard will be eliminated each week. There will be double eliminations some weeks, which will be announced in advance.

PRIZES:
There are huge prizes involved throughout the gladiator series.

Each week a gladiator submits, they will receive a Feathery Hotel Coupon. That means if you survive until the final then you will get 8 FHCs!

Furthermore, the winner of the overall series will receive $250m straight cash and a **free custom sig from R0FL**! And the runner up will get $100m! It’s all to play for! And the person with the most golden buzzers gets $200m!

We will also hand out random bonus prizes throughout to both gladiators and commenters, so stay involved!

Every graphic posted for challenges will still belong to the gladiator, to use or sell in future. This is a great way to build your portfolio!

FINAL CHALLENGE

Both final participants must use the below render as the focal point. Everything else is free game.

They will be posted for a public vote both here and in the GFX Lounge Discord. If a participant wins both votes, they will win the final challenge. If someone wins the forum vote whilst the other person wins the Discord vote (1-1), HS97 and KingABz will choose the winner.

The winner of this final challenge will get 1 point on the gladiator series leaderboard, ultimately taking them top the top.

As mentioned at the beginning, each week HS97 and myself will be hitting the Golden Buzzer on an artist of our choosing, which grants them an additional 0 points (nerfed from 1). It will be for something that catches our eye, something different, something unique- something that stood out for us that week. We will try mix these up but repeat Golden Buzzer winners are very much possible. So think outside the box!. Note: Replicating the same thing next week doesn't guarantee you a buzzer.
