When factions with 700,000 and 1,400,000 respect, with membership requirements like a minimum of 1,000,000 in battle stats per player, declare war on a new faction with mostly level 3-5 member, with combined total battle stats of all members of not more than maybe 300,000... is it fair to say those faction leaders are nothing but absolute cowards? Looking to make some easy earned reputation by beating on two week old players. What a bunch of losers.

To all the truly butt hurt cowards out there, you know who you are, I am going to clear a few things up, just in case you have missed it.
I am not blaming, whining, complaining nor do I have any pain in my butt. I have still just called you out for what you truly are, gutless cowards. You are the ones that are blaming the game mechanics, like those are an unquestionable God you can not defy, for your actions. You are the ones that are whining about how difficult it is to chain, unless you jump on the much smaller factions. You are the ones who are complaining yourselves silly about some random NuffleMurda seeing your true cowardice colors. You are all obviously butt hurt as never before since this thread is still going strong.
I did not create the faction. I was left with it. Out of my own pocket, Torn currency and donor money, I have been trying to give the new guys (newer than me even) a good start by giving them advice (as much as I know and don't know), sending them treats, meds, drugs, money if in need, and a decent daily salary. I was given a really good start by my friends who asked me to join, and I thought it'd be fun to **** around a little, role play and give the new guys in the faction an enjoyable introduction to the game.
I have not even raised an eyebrow when other factions, around 20,000 to 200,000 strong, have declared war on us. There has been one or two, sometimes even 10 other players in those factions we have been able to retaliate against(we have not yet declared war on anyone), and give the new guys a little hope and feeling of being protected and taken care of by the faction leader and co-leader (that unfortunately had to leave due to the dickless cowardice present). Sometimes there has only been 2 stronger players in the faction, so fair enough. They're are warring against other and will probably be hospitalized just as much.
There is a small difference when you compare that to a 1,400,000 faction with 90 members, all bigger and stronger than anyone in our faction, would you not agree? Probably not, because you are cowards. Cowards... oh lord such cowards.
I gained nothing out of this faction (or not being in it by myself is more accurate), maybe one merit, and it would probably take our faction weeks or months before another merit would drop down. All it really did for me was give me a little bit of satisfaction when the lower lever members expressed gratitude when being sent a little something or given some well needed advice. I can live without that satisfaction.
I am still not blaming, complaining or whining. I am only telling it for what it is. A bunch of low life cowards who doesn't have the guts or decency to pick a fight with someone their own size. It's like Cro Cop in the octagon against a toddler. Pick on someone your own size, cowards. But you can't right? Because then you might not have close to a 100% probability of completing your chain... wuuuuuuaaaahhh, wuuuuuuuuuuaaaaahh (baby crying if you couldn't figure that one out). All you are doing by frantically trying to defend your actions is embarrass yourselves.

I have not once said that I wanted to change the game, or that players should not be allowed to do whatever they want. I have simply stated that what those factions did was cowardice, and anyone else doing the same is a coward.

So numbers is the only thing that matters in Torn? Because this is a text- and number based game, and just because you can abuse a flaw in the game that ruins the experience for new factions and players (as others who responded pointed out), you do - and should - abuse that flaw to gain stats faster?
With that logic anyone who is abusing flaws or taking advantage of bugs in any video game should not be condemned, but their actions should instead be defended, because "It's numbers man! You improve that k/d by hiding inside that bugged out rock, killing others from absolute cover. Go dude, pump those numbers up!"
A higher level and age has given you the opportunity to choose a path in this game that is beneficial for you. If you choose to not put a lot of time and energy into your battle stats, and you are mugged by a player 10 levels lower than you... well, tough luck dude.
The difference is level 50+ faction leaders (humongous factions) declaring war on a faction with twelve 4 day old level 3's. But I guess the high horse you are talking about has crawled so far up your ass, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a scud missile and a goose's feather if they both hit you in the face.
I am not the only one keeping this thread alive mate, and that only shows the interest and importance of the subject, even tho some high level cowards have scared most of the people of a similar mindset as myself into silence.

Ok, I annoyingly bumped the thread once, and popped XxRickiebossxX's forehead vein... but that was a one hit wonder.
Why would I? I am not going to attack any level 1-10's ever again (unless they are wolves in sheep's clothing). When I am over level 20, level 10-15's (probably 10-20's with a rare exception here and there), will be pardoned too, etc.
No one will ever have to come and whine to me, because I will not cowardly use my stats to gain merits, cred, or whatever, without the risk of getting my ass beat. Why? Because it is cowardice.
There is no one to fight. They have all been annihilated, and they know it. When the memes start coming in, you know your cowardly foes are out of gas and arguments. At that point they're looking for some quick nervous laughs from their equals, hoping that the group bullying will redeem some lost dignity. But they have never had any dignity, for they are cowards.

"Your despicable responses" was enough for me to just ignore your entire post. Was it my choice of words that made my responses despicable? Because a personally directed bitch, delusional, stupid, fanatical or crybaby as response to a broad accusation is not despicable, apparently, since these words were thrown around in every other post before I responded accordingly, and not mentioned or denounced by anyone reading or partaking.

If by your last reply you mean the post where you comment on my attitude toward this game, I probably decided not to answer as I have no attitude toward the game (I have once mentioned a flaw / flaws in Torn and other video games as a parable, but not directed any derogatory remarks toward Torn), but toward a certain type of player. I have explained elsewhere my opinion of people who put words in my mouth, and this should be sufficient reason for you to consider that post an irrelevant mistake on your behalf.
In your other post you once again bring up the faction system, and chaining. This has also been dealt with, to a point where "agree to disagree" should've been the only logical outcome like 8 pages ago. You should know by now that you could hold a 5 hour seminar, with a power point presentation and promiscuous halftime dancers, explaining how effective it is to declare war on 5 K factions when chaining. I would still call you a coward.
Not particularly outraged. However, I am a man of principals. I know that many in this thread has taken offense, some who have just tried to give some friendly advice but got caught in a shit storm. The ones that started the personal name calling against me are the true aggressors and cowards, cowering behind walls of text trying to justify their shitty behavior. I have responded accordingly, but I also have some newfound respect for some of them.
Sure, my first post was somewhat harsh... I even called them losers. But like you say dude, I was also surprised that a powerful faction like JFB declared on our little faction and I called them out for it. After doing so they got so intensely butt hurt this thread is now topping the charts!

I had not declared war on anyone. I was defending my minions. We were attacked, my minions got beat up, and I retaliated. Couldn't be more justified.

I didn't have a goal when I started. I just sold copied media and worked out with no boosters. A good way to waste down time at work. Subsequently I got a little more invested as the missions became more challenging and I joined a pretty big faction. The faction leader was a complete douche who wanted members to attack much stronger players, for no good reason. When this was questioned, the faction leader responded with "I can't help that you're new", and no further explanation or anything. Me and a few others left.
The Backyard Bad Boys was founded. One has got to start somewhere, right? Maybe not, considering all the posts in this thread.
Shortly after the leader left, and I was left in charge. Tried to give the very new guys in the faction a good head start (not a condescending shit experience like my first faction leader gave us). Then a couple gigantic cowardice factions declared war on us and this thread was created. And what a glorious thread it has become!
Now the goal is what it was in the beginning. A good way to kill down time. But all of you have turned this in to a different kind of monster... a mental punching bag. Being what you are, cowards who beat down on tiny factions and justify 1,4 M factions declaring war on a 5 K "baby faction" (as veteran players apparently calls it) by it "being effective", it is absolutely hilarious to watch you burst your forehead veins every time I bump this thread.
