I know when I just started out the people in my faction were an invaluable resource- I'm so glad that this service exists for other newbies who might not otherwise find that kind of support. I think it could either be really amazing and subversive or it could be a lukewarm sorta thing. I'd definitely read it though- sounds like it has a lot of potential!! Does he have any other motivations for loving the circus, or is that like just his thing? Why is he so embarrassed by it? It sounds like he's really invested in this thing he's not supposed to be.

Intending to commit a crime
Perhaps steal a coat, mug a man

A novelty, a sparkling place

But what didn't Timmy see
In his innocence, his naiive daze

After some minutes of collecting cash
