The faction will exist for 1 year. After that it will be probably be sold and the sale price will be split amongst its members proportionately to their time spent in the faction.
At the time of writing membership will be strictly limited to 15. This may increase but it's unlikely .... small, agile, hard-hitting is where we want to be.

Fact: Torn is a game. It is NOT a substitute for real life. If you slap yourself repeatedly whilst muttering this you will end up with a bruised face but it won't stop you playing.
