Propitiation
An action performed to appease the wrath of a god. To make it possible for a god to be consistent in their character and yet be able to forgive offenses.
I don't know what I did to make the Torn gods angry, but I get mugged all the time! I wonder if there is some act of propitiation that would appease them.
Eucatastrophe

I am writing a novel and am happy with most of it. The big question that I keep struggling with is, should I end the novel with catastrophe or eucatastrophe.

seeing that the hill is now capitalist, I offer you a nice sum of money to leave the hill. My sum is not enough to get you to move, so I start a go-fund-me and raise enough money to get you to leave graciously. I take up residence on my hill and begin to write thank you notes to all my generous supporters!

I love debating religion. Sadly this thread didn't rise to the usual standard of good fun :/
For real the pick up line that works every time:
Go up to a girl, hold out your hand palm down as if you are gently holding something. Say to her, "Excuse me can you hold this for me for a minute?" Nearly every girl I have ever tried it on will say, "sure" and hold out their hand. Take their hand and walk with them and start a conversation holding hands.
I have never seen it fail!
Realizing that Malay used the Armor Piercing Question, I fake crying and walk away. After he reconfigures the defense, I walk back up the hill and use the Armor-Piercing Response. This wise response amazes Malay to the point that he bows to my genius and gladly gives up the hill for a full 24 hours!
