It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Kilo69 (1989-2024) after a long and painful struggle with genetic liver cirrhosis.
I met Kilo a couple of years ago in QuidnunksHQ and she was a strong personality (to put it mildly). Quick-witted, snappy, fiery, and a little angry most of the time, she was the ultimate personification of a Honey badger. Kilo wasn’t afraid to throw down on the battlefield or in the forums and for that she got some mixed reviews.
To those that made it past the prickly exterior, she cared just as hard as she fought. Kilo was thoughtful, understanding, and always around to listen and offer honest feedback. I don’t know how many people she maintained contact with over the years, but I always enjoyed our banter (even if she was a dick sometimes). We traded millions of memes, rocked out to new songs, made fun of Dave, laughed about stupid stuff, and traded doggo pics (Kilo absolutely adored animals).
Whether you liked, loved, or hated; friended, cursed, or enemied – Kilo69 was something to a lot of people and it’s tragic to lose somebody so young. TORN was a place where she wasn’t sick, nobody could see her pain and she could be anybody in the world – that’ll always be how I remember the one and only Kilo69. Vivre sans temps mort.
This is my Giant Schnauberdoodle (Giant Schnauzer / Bernedoodle) named Tucker. He’s nearly 17mo and about to complete his Service Dog certification. He’s a complete living Muppet!
Oh how many times have I been in this exact situation? I'll tell you while D is very practical, the valves never shut back down properly and now we're dealing with that... so I vote for option C, rock that distraction!
