I have had this name since I was 12 (I am currently 26). Someone had told a friend and me about a game called torncity. We agreed we would try it out together when I went to his place the coming weekend (He owned a computer and I didn't). I was staying at his place and we were both eager to try the game out for the first time. I played first, so I made the account and we decided on a name together. He suggested the name Katawa. It sounded cool so I was all for it. (It was taken so we went with Katawa0) As the evening went on it got later and later and I got tired when it wasn't my turn anymore. I fell a sleep around 1 A.M. I wake at 8 A.M. just to see my friend still playing. He signed out and told me I can play while he was going to sleep. When I said, "Well, why did you sign out then?" He said, "It is my account. Obviously."

This hurt at first since, I thought we were getting me started, not him. I did not own a computer and could only play when my Grandmother brought me to the library on weekends and then only for a couple hours, If that. So I said, "Okay, Fine. Go to sleep and when you wake up I will be even further ahead then you with a cooler name everyone will like." He went to bed and I sat there for maybe 30 minutes just staring at the main web page. We both liked dragons. I had figures of them and books that covered lore on them and read books that had a dragon as a lead villain or as a wise guide for it's Pride. Then I determined: 1- I like dragons. 2- I want a name with no numbers. 3- I want it to identify me as a leader or at least someone who works well with others. (I was not normally this in thought about things as a kid) So I thought about how I could go with Thunder Dragon, to represent a group of dragons. Nah, people might mistake this as me being an elemental. Maybe,l Dragon Pride or Pride Dragon. No, makes me sound full of myself. I know! I will do just as I set out to do, I will make my own group. My own Clan... My own TRIBE! I love it. 13 year old me had lost his mind. This was it. I typed it in and sure enough it was available.

Ever since then, I have used it for my account on everything. My longest running active account being my X Box Live account (feel free to add me but I have not been on as frequently these past few weeks.) I have carried that name with me everywhere. Since then, I have thought of other names and seen names that have caught my attention, but this name is Me. When I meet friends from online IRL for the first time or get with a group of my friends we call ourselves a tribe. Mainly because I am the common friend and it just sounds cool to us. May sound silly to others but, to me it is the coolest of names. I have yet to have it taken from beneath me but, if someone did have it though, I wouldn't complain. Not only would it do me no good but, I would hope that when they came up with it, it was something they thought was cool and they were looking for that same uniqueness as me.

Before I end this I would like to say, I still care for that friend very much and spent many years hanging out with him after that. It wasn't for a few months that I realized, without asking, why he choose that name or account. I learned in Japanese, Katawa means Cripple. My friend suffered from Dystonia and this made him a clear target for ridicule because of how it made him look (made one leg shorter than another). He choose it ironically and I, to this day do not know why he choose it. Maybe just because it sounded cool. Maybe because he is accepting of how he was born. I don't know, but I always saw him as a brother and hoped that calling himself that helped him more than hurt him.

I have not had my name stolen from me. If someone did, I would be okay with that. I identify more with my actions than a moniker I have given to myself. This doesn't mean I don't like this name or wouldn't miss it. I would however take it as an opportunity for me to take an adventure and try something new. I can see why you would miss your old name. Take the adventure route and see if you can create something meaning full to the you, you are today. I can't think of a suggestion now, but since you have been enjoying Torn Raceway lately, maybe think of something Sharp+racing or Sharp+car part. Or drop Sharp all together and go fresh start. Good luck choosing.

One of the sheep I relocated was eaten. I see it in my mind device. I have his spirit monitored through telepathy and see that it is brought back to life and then killed again. I do not break a sweat as I go and grab one of the other 211 sheep and have it cloned again. I ship it back out to the farm it was happy at. I was returning home when I see Joann_Pierce cutting a sheep up and placing it all over the place and shipping it off. "Wow. Poor sheep." Then it clicked. Maybe this was Duke's sheep? Drat. I went to visit Duke. I convinced Duke with my natural 20 diplomacy role that the sheep that was killed was not his that was stolen. I keep the secret that I have a perfectly cloned army of all his sheep hidden at my disposal. Ready for when the time comes to claim them as mine. Why? I.. do... not... know... I return to my faction headquarters and wait back down in my bunker watching the sheep.

I was walking through the forest when I see a grappling hook shot into the sky at a glider. I found it unusual when just a sheep is snagged from the glider and nothing else. I follow the owner of the grappling hook and see them tuck the sheep into bed with a pile of plushies. The sheep stood out from the plushies as it was the only sheep the size of... a sheep. I send a call for back-up to my faction. I inform them of this clearly special sheep and my need for immediate extraction. Scoot rallies the troops and they arrive in the hour. I am informed that there was word of a famed sheep that has gone through hell and back by a faction member who has done the research. As dusk turns to night we sneak into the house an slit Govinda's throat just in case. "il credo dell'assassino dice riposo in pace". Our smartest staff member runs some tests and sees an exact 212 gene pool in the sheep. She learns that the sheep has a need to multiply. When I ask, "does it need to mate?" the member responds with, "No. Just to exist 212 times." Weird but whatever. Thankfully Govinda wasn't far from base. We run the sheep through a cloning machine and in seconds we have 212 annoying bleating sheep. "What now Dragon Tribe?" I call a friend from the North Pole. "Yo, Santa. I need favor. Only you can complete it quick enough to make the shit I am about to say sound possible." Santa zips up his fly and responds with, "I guess this year I come twice." Da faq? So he does as I ask. It was a secret I only share with those who find this not on the original sheep. The sheep were delivered to 212 random sheep farms that had 211 sheep on them. Creating 212 farms of 212 sheep. The sheep are connected to me telepathically like Xavier from X-Men in the safety of my factions home base miles under ground. I am monitoring them all with this device waiting for what will happen next. Hopefully there safety is long lasting and there owner will come calling for them. 

I lose a million every time I spin the "Wheel of Awesome". Kicked in the throat mainly.
