Funniest joke wins 1million · · 5 likes

A couple of rednecks are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, and his eys are rolled back in his head.

The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?"

The operator, in a calm soothing voice, says: "Just take it easy. I can help. First, lets make sure your friend is really dead."

There is a brief silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. "Ok, Now What?"

I think I nearly wet myself when I first heard this one.

Assuming you're a guy (and apologies if you're not), MTG was so much harder to get into as a woman than Dungeons & Dragons. For me, it's actually the reverse. The community of MTG players I knew were all between the ages of 12-18, and some outlier 30+, but (and I'm not exaggerating) a good 90% of those were the most stereotypical nerds ever; you know, incel, mum's basement, unwashed, sexist, gatekeeping, etc etc. Which sucked because I enjoyed the game, and yet I felt I could never play properly because I would have been, in their eyes, feeding the stereotype of women trying games. I even had people make actual remarks about molesting me because I stretched.

Whereas, because the groups of D&D I play are smaller, there's none of that 'everyone's judging me on my skills rather than how I play this character'. I've been playing it for years now and even the seasoned DMs have to check the books- maybe you haven't found the right group? Local libraries, meetup.com, or maybe even try roll20? Also, because they're smaller and because we've been meeting for around two years now, we all know each other, we all know what people can and can't do, what they do and don't like, and none of them have ever once made a joke about touching me.

Warhammer is a whole new creature that I hardly know anything about. When I do walk into a Warhammer store, I'm usually treated quite well, but the cynic in me is thinking that they're obviously trying customer service to get me to buy the £80 box set and the £40 codices, or what ever else they're trying to push that day.

Even so, if you ever feel the urge to play D&D again, or even try another tabletop RPG, roll20 is good in that you can search for games that allow specifically new players, and you can choose whether you want to use voice, text or full video to communicate. And they host many different types of RPGs, including Dragon Age RPG, Call of Cthulhu, FATE.

Used to be, several years ago. Only casually though. I still have my decks somewhere, I think I'm rocking Nissa and elves, and an infect deck.

Literally Evil Duck and Dude make me not want to ever open the forums because I'm 90% sure that any shitpost is made by them and it gets boring after a while.

This whole thread is creepy as hell.

Is England safe? ·

In fact, I'd say that everyone in England alive at this point hasn't been murdered once, either.

Usually people just find something else to do whilst they can't play an online game for 24 hours, but you can bitch about it, if you want.

Steam problem ·

Yep. I have 141, and I've played maybe 20 of them for more than an hour or two. Probably Town of Salem and The Binding of Isaac (and Rebirth) are the most played. *And Final Fantasy VII. The problem with mine is that my laptop is actually just really, really old. So a lot of the games I do get don't run as well as they should (looking at you, Morrowind and Alice: Madness Returns). But getting a new computer isn't high on my list just yet because I'm mostly still a console gamer and while my laptop still runs well enough to use the internet and watch YouTube videos, it's not much of an issue as of yet.

Bring back old bounty system · · 7 likes

It's not so much that Tenma is worried about newer players being protected or not. It's that he's realised suddenly trying to hospitalise everyone in Supernova that he can, for seemingly no reason, means that people in Supernova with the money and patience to place bounties on him for attacking members constantly are doing so, and he doesn't like it.
