Time is passing in the town, it's been long enough since things started going astray that people have started to get suspicious. Rumours of backroom deals and shady happenings, trust has begun to break down. Will you be the saviour of the town, removing any threats to your previously peaceful existence, or will you be the harbinger of the downfall of this pitiful town of fools?
Rules and gameplay (If you have a suggestion, fire away! Can’t hurt, can it?):
This game will make use of a discord server - the game will begin once all slots are filled and all the players have verified on the discord.
In the event of a tied vote - nobody will be lynched.
A list of roles will be on the discord, however not all roles are revealed.
Upon death, a player's role will be revealed. There are vanilla townies.
Days and Nights last 24 hours each, with cycles starting at 20:00TCT. Voting and night actions close one hour earlier (19:00TCT). Votes later than this point will be counted as missed.
If you miss two votes over the course of the game, you will be replaced at the end of that day/night cycle.
Game discussion can only be held in the day, and during the day chat must be game related. Memes are only allowed on the discord, and are very very welcome. You may not discuss during the night, doing so will mean you are replaced.
The general discord chat is for unrelated or memeing only.
Votes will only count if in BOLD AND CAPSLOCK, (Ex. VOTE MENTALSTILLNESS) Changing your vote requires you to unvote first. (Ex. UNVOTE MENTALSTILLNESS. VOTE CHED) Votes will not count if the post with the vote is edited.
You may vote abstain or no lynch - abstain will mean your vote is not counted but you aren’t marked as missing, and no lynch actively votes for no lynch. Relatively self-explanatory, but I know I’d be the one guy stupid enough not to get it, so there you go.
You must make at least 3 game related posts a day, missing this twice will also result in you being replaced.
There will be hidden roles and possible alignment change.
