Has there ever been a mention of a possible version 2.0, or Torn restart overall?
For new joiners it's a totally different game experience than back in the day when people were just starting up themselves.
I imagine the rat race is quite exciting to experience. But I understand a lot of people have spent many years building up what they have right now.
So maybe instead of a restart, a version 2.0 would be interesting to experience.

There is a bigger issue that isn't really discussed yet.
There is a queue forming of people with 10k treats, and they are lining up trying to spam the summon button.
But every time they failed to convert, it's another x amount of treats that they can't keep earning.
Some are still chasing the 10k treats based on sunk cost principle. And even with 5 summoners per year, there will be people who won't be able to summon him for 3 or more years, thus not earning any additional treats -> billions of missed gains per year.
Either allow them to get in a 'queue' by spending the treats, or have them spend partial amounts of their stack on treats, then it still makes sense to keep pushing for more and buying inflation perk etc.

Some of you seem to be misinterpreting my post, it's not necessarily about taking away the fortunes and stats that people spent years building up, or a way to catch up to them quickly.
With the amount of money currently circulating the game. Certain hurdles are just rushed to such a degree, that it's hard to experience all aspects of the game the way they were originally implemented.
But then again, that's what this post was about, to see what other peoples thoughts on the matter are.
It's not necessarily to add or implement new features.
But more of a way for people to play the game while all starting from the same level.
So there is no discrepancy of 10years playtime between different people.
I know it will cause a bit of a divide, since if you spent many years building up your wealth, you would have to start from scratch.
Just like everybody else.
But it would be interesting to hear other people's opinion about this.
