I'm in my 7th decade, done time in Las Vegas, Laughlin, and even Jersey City. tons of time at 21. Seriously, not a gambler, but spent hundreds of hours on the various tables and though not a huge winner, never, ever did I come home a loser from 21. Ever. Only in Torn you see that stuff happens.
Now, Chud did change the shoes from (3 deck?) to 8 deck a few years ago as some of the old school players were apparently abusing, cheating or otherwise taking advantage (I think that here in Torn, they permit such activity and just call it an 'Exploit').
Interesting that he doesn't take into account only one player at a time; real tables you easily have 4-6 at a time. That alone kills any players advantage.
Also note the frequency that the dealer shuffles the cards.... way too often for a 1v1 contest.
I can guarantee you that their Casino program would NEVER pass a serious gaming commission certification process.

As a note of reference, I dgaf about anyone's 'identity' or sexual preferences, I just do find it interesting that of all the holiday's that Torn.com recognizes and/or participates in one way or another, they impose this 'holiday'/event to introduce the screen-blasting graphics! Why not pots of gold for March 17? Why not baskets or Bunnies for Easter? Maybe lights or stars for Christmas? Baked Turkey's for Thanksgiving? How about a menorah for Hanukkah? Will we get Red-White-Blue for July 4th? Going to find out shortly!

I saw some ridiculous response that they make up for it in the travel times.... please. Can't wait to see how much one has to travel in order to benefit that lost Capacity?
Addendum - If my rough calculation is accurate of a 5% time reduction, it means you'd need roughly 15 Hours of travel times to get one round trip visit to Mexico or Cayman as the 'bonus'. Truly ridiculous. These new changes do NOT benefit veteran players what-so-ever, which seems to be the MO of the recent 'changes'.

If I'm following correctly, the weaker faction offered (the pun here is just hilarious) to lose and 'accept' 60/40 split??? That would be absolutely absurd! Someone did not pay attention before agreeing.
