Everywhere communities are being terrorized by sentient mushrooms that taste like shit and robots that are fighting the mushrooms and terrorizing humans at the same time.
But somewhere in the midwest, there's a scientist that can't afford a TV and doesn't get sucked into the pop culture phenomenons that are sweeping the country. He alone knows what to do and does the unthinkable: He heads into Roswell (where they keep dead aliens) and transports himself to the secret military base on Antarctica and presses the emergency button. The button that melts all the ice and releases the dinosaurs. For some reason the dinosaurs are sentient and want to help save humanity. Also for some reason the melting ice doesn't have any negative effects on the planet.
