Quick question. I don't know how deep and intricate the game is when it comes to stats, but from what I see on the surface, a Bulletproof vest has 34.01 armor, and a Full Body Armor has 31.36 .. But why then is the vest worth less money, and less are in circulation?
Is there a hidden bonus on the Full Body Armor that I'm not seeing? For example does it actually cover the arms and reduce damage there as well whereas the vest does not?
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the attacking system in this game.
What is the actual benefit of attacking someone with a gun as opposed to melee? Does it give a better chance of criticals, or damage, or anything like that?
I have an Enfield SA80, a Qsz-92, and a Diamond Bladed Knife.
Rifle : 63.62 dmg, 75.13 acc.
Pistol : 62.32 dmg, 69.29 acc.
Knife : 60.60 dmg, 84.40 acc.
Surely for the purpose of saving on ammo and stuff, I should just use the knife all the time, especially as it's so likely to hit them due to a high accuracy? Or if not, why?
Being new to a game like this really opens your eyes to the deep, dark politics of online gaming. Like, how do you all know these things about each other?
Side note: Torn females actually exist? Interesting. From my experience, females in online games are generally, well, not.
But, of course, I can't afford it yet - and am probably a long time away from being able to.
Instead, is there anyone out there who'd give me one in return for certain Easter eggs for example, or for doing some tedious shit job for them like buying specific items from the shop that they can't buy (max item limit) or something like that? I'm new to the game and don't really know how helpful a level 6 can really be, if at all! But I'm tired of having my arse repeatedly handed to me by blatant multi-account players, and those of a higher level than me.
Oh yeah, I've seen a lot of begging. The players on this game from what I've seen so far are really helpful though, I can't fault them. Now I just need to actually work out how to play it!

I appreciate that, and I understand the loaning of weapons and armour etc.
It was more the fact that a different account was responding to me in the chat room, when referring to the attacks made on my character. Basically another account took responsibility for it, which I thought was odd and probably inexplicable otherwise.
Yeah I noticed that recently, although it was more the chat thing that made me think it. I just didn't think anything of it at the time because I didn't realise people couldn't have more than one account.
I was attacked early game, and lost. Which is cool. The same person attacked me every time I left the hospital, which again, is fine. It's all part of the game and I've gotta "git gud" to solve it. I didn't complain about it.
But then I mention it in the New Players chat, saying I'll get revenge on the guy eventually when I buy better weapons and boost my stats, and a person with a different account name to the attacker responds to my comments with "lol that's the guy I keep attacking" and a couple of other things relating to it.
And if that isn't already enough indication, he attacked me today after I sold loads of Easter eggs to buy better weapons and armour etc. and he actually lost to me. But then half hour later, he's attacking me again but this time with $30,000,000 worth of weaponry and armour, and of course wins again.
I think logically I have a case worthy of at least a quick IP address check.
No way. For real? Who knew people could get so wrapped up in something like this. But then I have kinda seen it myself in previous games, it's so weird! The gossip within me really wants to know who these people are.
Thanks for the advice Otter, I'll likely do exactly that for now - Use my knife primarily I mean. I've noticed that when I get attacked, the other person uses it and seems to wipe me out with ease. It probably helps that they've got more than one account and are breaking the rules to supply themselves with $20m worth of weaponry to do so in the first place, but hey.
I'll keep it in mind for when I slowly gain levels and might require a bit more damage to accuracy ratio.
I ask because I know of someone doing it and exploiting the ability to transfer the best weapons and armour etc to a lower character for easy wins early level - which sort of defies the whole object of the game for me.
That's interesting though, and good also. I've been a member of a few games in the past that have been left to shit because the players brought the game too much money etc to be banned.
Interesting, thanks for the help Claire. It's a difficult one to choose between because the beauty is that you'll never know someone's stats before you attack them.
