Bar. I had no good reason to be there, work had been called off for the day. It was sleeting and I was a roofer. So I had been at this bar all day then about 8pm SHE walked in i nearly fell out of my chair. Some old dude was all up on her playing pool, my friend had his eye on her too. Had the old dude removed and introduced ourselves. We started playing pool with her. My buddy got wind she was 18 backed off. I had gas. I kept walking over to this old piano and was playing low notes to let it out. My buddy left to go to a party somewhere, come to find out on the way he crashed off the highway and survived it, albeit barely. She had come with friends, one of them was one of the bar/motel owner's daughters. One of my longtime friends had a room in the motel, her husband was a cook there and they lost their apartment. I had some ritalin, her girlfriend and I snorted it. Somehow we ended up going to her girlfriends house. I drove her in my car she was all worried as i had been at the bar all day and snorted ritalin with her friend minutes before. I was good tho I had basically stopped drinking when she showed up and the ritalin made me alert as all hell. We all hung out for a few minutes then my buddy wayne called he wasnt far off. They wanted to meet my friend so it was decided he should join the party. He got lost on the way so her friend and I went on a rescue mission in my car brought him back to her house. Within 2 minutes he was snoring. Soon after she was cuddling in close. I found myself restricting my breathing trying to mold myself to better support her. the Dad came home at 3 am to a bunch of people . I was geeking off the ritalin with his daughter come to find out he was dea.
