Everytime I see something like this, I ask myself: If I was in his place, living the exact same experiences and all that, will I do the same things that he's ever done? I don't know the answer, so i cannot judge what he "deserves". Blame is becoming an old trend. Understanding what forms a human being, what drives us to do what we do is the next step in our evolution. Otherwise, people that had the bad luck of living bad lives, with unloving families (or lack of), will be pushed in poverty and misery by people with "better morals", or rather, people who had the fortune of having people around them that taught them some good things, or whatever positive experiences like that. Whats the idea with death and punishment? Because he has some serious issues which, most likely, are not his fault? Which drove him to make some really bad decisions (like we do when our emotions go wild), placed himself in bad situations with bad people due to complete lack of insight about life and the beauty of it, mix adrenaline and a guy shouting at you to the exact opposite thing your brain has evolved to do in high stress situations, and what will you get? Well, no matter if you're 16 or 12, people shout execution.
I wonder, if he was 3 years old, would he had been perceived as a badass?
