He seems pretty sure that he didn't send anything abusive to anyone so I'll assume the discord ban was just for being annoying on the whole ticket/bonus issue rather than anything abusive. 

From the PMs regarding the bonus payout it seems like a valid reason for any delay in payment. Tbf, he seems to have cooled down on his accusations about scamming now, so I guess there's progress on that front. The personal issues he still has with the TFC management is it's own beast though. Will be fun to watch how he wants to proceed with that :D. 

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this being a PSA. Multiple people have said you were, at the very least unpleasant in the discord - possibly abusive. Even with your original first few posts, it reads more like someone trying to antagonize leaders of TFC rather than some PSA on bad company policies/terms and conditions. 

Love what you said though, "I knew I was going to antagonize some people but am surprised by the amount of hate I got for it" xD.

* Being a little nosy, I'd love to see what was said on the discord so I can make my own judgement on if the discord ban was for abuse of members or some cover-up attempt. 

This reads like you were trying to antagonize people and are now surprised people want to fight back.

If you're going to play the villain stop crying about getting hit. "Enjoy wasting your energy" is a Torn version of crying about it. You're either the villain or the victim, pick a lane and stay in it.

You can forgive them if this was a simple mix-up in math but the message he sends reads like he's trying to get payment for 'allowing hits' and not any mix-up in percentages or the calculations.

I'd be happy to spread your cheeks in that thread. Just make sure you write out the message that started this whole chain of event verbatim in your new thread.

Could it be possible they liked your post because you helped explain the difference between talking TO someone (bypass ignore list) vs talking ABOUT someone (not bypassing ignore list)? 

Our situations could have been different. My report specified I believed the person sending me annon money/messages was spamming me - the logs show a money sent every few minutes for about a half hour. None of the messages attached was worth a report. I was never able to find out who was sending me the annon money so I couldn't add them to my ignore list, which resulted in them being able to use bounties to bypass the staff warning they received. But once I reported the bounties everything stopped. In a messed up way, if they didn't spam me they probably could continue sending me annon money/messages/bounty. They kinda played themselves there. 

It is annoying that you can't ignore a person who is clearly utilizing the annon features to bypass being added to your ignore list. I really don't have a good suggestion on how to fix it.

This is actually not true. You can report yourself and staff can look into who's sending you the annon money. Report yourself with 'Events Report' and they'll look into it for you.

Annon bounties was the next step but you can also report yourself for those as well (If you think the person bountying you is the one you have ignored). They can still bounty you but they can't put down a reason.

I'm not familiar with many cultures where its cool to disrespect the deceased. 

No one out here said we're saints or even the good guys. We're about respecting our friends. If you're going to disrespect one of us, you'll see what makes us NS.

So you're recommendation is for changes to the game rules regarding Impersonation. So long as the person is Intentionally impersonating someone there should be intervention? Essentially, remove the stipulation that there needs to be some 'advantage'.

In this case, it sounds like you don't even care about damages, just if a similar name is being used or not - Which I'm 100% against. 

If that's not what you're suggesting then it comes back to my original arguments;

Players need to protect themselves by double checking profiles.

No one is going around saying D3vl has the power to change how my game is played. 

Again, what is the burden of proof to prove intent in general cases? Do recruiting messages mean I've interacted with players I've sent messages to, even if I send 100+ a day? What about Forum posts? Trade chat? Global? I've literally had people msg me after seeing one of my trade posts telling me they love/hated my name. There could easily be a scenario where someone wants to take a similar name as me cause they find it funny or want to cause confusion. How in those cases can mods discover 'intent'? 

You're still looking at this with this specific case in mind. General cases are not so easy to determine.

Edit: Yes, as I've stated previously as well, this is a clear case of impersonation as the dictionary defines it. The discussion we're having is at what point are mods required to step in an take action/ should mods be required to step-in. 

What's the burden of proof to prove there is intent (think beyond this specific case). How much time/effort should mods put into the discovery of intent? 

Rules and policies are made for general cases so lets say I take the name Vim. How do we go about proving that I didnt make this name change with the intent to impersonate you?
