I love this loanshark.
Its not only a good way to get a fair amount of money when you are short. Its a good way to teach some players a valuable lesson.
Take a loan of a player, dont pay him back? Sure, you are a scammer/ get some bounties. Thats it.
Take a loan of a Shark --> he'll chew through your suit till he hits a full wallet.
If you are active, why should you get a City Watch to tell you something you already know.
If you are not active, why should you get a City Watch to tell you something you will find out next day/week.
Its indeed a ''funny'' scam.
Except when it happens to new players that dont know crap about this game.
Prior to the energy nerfing you could get unlimited energy by just stacking and stacking and stacking. Highest I heard of was 30k energy. (one would be seriously pissed to get an OD ^^)

The way you say it, its like you get punished for being a donator.
There is only 1 currency in Torn. Its called the 1DP.
In other words, the amount of ingame cash the gamers value to a Donator Pack (otherwise known as DP).
Whenever Ched thinks he gets less than a few million a year (he is a smart man, he thinks ahead) he denominates the value of a DP. In other words, the more players start playing or keep playing this game, without actually spending real life money (o, if you try to, you get banned. Its not being a total hypocrtit, its ''logical'') So if the interest on ingame money sucks, it means the factual income on his reallife money sucks. But its shown as ''keeping the balance''. Yes. On his bankaccount. But can you blame him? Its his income afterall.

Hitting the same target over and over does indeed give less exp per attack. Has been since 2 or 3 years now?

And its still a BS waste of merits.
When I had no merits in Awareness I would find a few items per week. Mostly useless, sometimes less useless.
Then I trippled my activity, and had awareness at 10/10 for a few years. Found 4 or 5 kitchen knifes.
Then regilded my merits. Back to finding useless items once again, but at least I find them.
For myself, and for many with me, having merits in awareness actually makes it impossible to find anything.
If you have a property with a ''Personal Vault'', and you have money in it, it cant be mugged.
Money on hand can get mugged by the rules Jackson explained.
And to put an extra to Jacksons post: anyone that is capable of defeating you in a battle can mug you. This includes spouses and members of the faction you are in (if you are in a faction that is obviously).

Just keep in mind, resetting will cost you 250points more than the previous reset. Resetting will become very expensive fast.
Yup. TCbasic was miles ahead, the owner got forced out of ownership by Torn and it got killed over to give the wiki a shot.
But the wiki works fine now, so thats nice.
