The phrase "NAT (natural) E" means your Energy is below your normal max (usually 100, or 150 if you have donator status).
When on NAT E, you regenerate Energy at 5 points per 15 minutes, but donators regenerate 5 every 10 minutes.
If you’re on Drug CoolDown (DCD) and at full NAT E, you can still efficiently use your Energy up to the 5-hour DCD mark.
Example: If you have 150/150 Energy and your DCD timer is 5 hours 20 minutes left, it would be beneficial to spend your Energy before the 5-hour mark to maximize efficiency.
Max Stacking and Chaining
While 1000 Energy is the max you can hold at once, during war times it’s possible to push beyond this limit temporarily.
Max Stack would be 4 Xanax and little to no DCD
One player has the potential to use up to 1550 Energy (62 hits) within about 30 minutes.
1550 Energy requires:
Using a 1000 Energy stack
Then using 150-point refill shortly before the 23:59 Torn City Time (TCT)
Another 150-point refill just after 00:00 TCT
Coordinated timing with your DCD for an additional 250 Energy
Without point refills both before and after 24:00 TCT, max stack is 1400 Energy (56 hits).
Type of Hits Affect Gains
War hits in general start with 2x Multiplier
Base attacks have their own multiplier based on level. From 1 to 1.5 (level 1 and 100 respectively) X is the players level Base Respect = (x/200) + 1
The fair fight (FF) multiplier ranges between 1x and 3x. Attacking someone with roughly 75% of your total battle stats or higher yields a FF of 3x.
A retaliation hit is an attack (hospitalization only) made on someone that has successfully attacked one of your faction members within the last 5 minutes. Retaliations provide a multiplier of 1.5x, and can only be claimed once on a player until they attack your faction again.
Attacking a target that is currently in another country will apply a multiplier of 1.25x.
Mugging gives 0.75% (3/4) the points of leaving or hospitalizing.
Group attacks give more points, but cost more energy. 3 attackers gives 1.4375x X is the amount of attackers. Group Attack Multiplier = 1.5 - 0.25 * 0.5^(x-1)
Chain level has a multiplier depending on how far along you are. Hits over 50 apply over 1.175x. Hits after 100 apply over 1.25x. Hits over 250 apply over 1.349x. X is the current chain number. Chain Scale Multiplier = 0.25 * Log_10(x) + 0.75
WarLord weapons also multiply this and every little bit helps!
Please correct me if I am wrong about this, but I believe the multipliers are multiplicative not additive. What this would look like is this: Base hit 1.5x, War hit 2x, FF 3x, Retaliation hit 1.5x, Abroad hit 1.25x, 3 person group attack 1.4375x, Chain hit (251) 1.35x = Will make a single whopping ~32.75 Point hit!
Chaining Basics
Safety first: If the chain breaks, you must start over or not.
When chaining for war only in war hits count towards the war score. Outside hits only give the faction respect, but can help keep chain afloat.
During war you want to try to make as many in war hits on targets as possible.
Chain timer details:
Initial timer is 5 minutes total for the first 10 hits
After 10 hits, the timer resets to 5 minutes after each hit
Slow Chain is an important tool we can utilize:
Making your killing blow with 1 minute to 45 seconds left/
If you are unsure about your chances in a fight aim for 2 to 1 minutes for killing blow.
If you are unsure about killing your target you should let someone know so they can save chain, or be quick with medical items then hitting a safer target like an out of war hit if you have to.
Making use of letting your attack time out(30 seconds from your last hit, auto leaves your target)
Making call outs when making hit and when they are secured. Like saying "I will take hit number X" or "Hit 99 secured," so people don't stress the timer running low and use energy on a second hit. Also so
NOT waiting till 31 seconds for killing blows and then letting auto leave at 1 second! Pet Peeve lol, it scares me.
Out of war hits are used for gaps between hospital timers.
Hitting out of war hits should be saved for a last resort like if the next target wont be up for 6 min and timer says 5 min, a moderately slow out of war hit is okay. Hitting at 2 minutes left would then give 3 minutes to hit that target.
Safety margin considerations:
Have you hit the target before? How difficult was it?
What stat range is the target in and what is your build.
Defense/Dexterity builds will have a harder time hitting people in their own stat range.
Is the target currently on DCD? Try to check when starting your attacks and remember for next hit.
Have you recently overdosed or been on DCD during your hits?
Have you just taken a Drug like Xanax, or has your Vicodin ran out?
Do you have an addiction stat reduction?
These factors become more important in close fights. Please use the TornTools Stat Estimator to assist your decisions!
Chain Milestones and Recommendations
Factions have different max chain levels: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10000, 25000, 50000, 100000.
You can view this on the Faction Upgrade Tree Page or ask around, certainly faction leadership will know.
For smaller faction wars, if playing it safe, aim for 50 and 100 chains.
A 50 chain requires at least 1250 Energy (achievable by one player see Max Stacking).
A 100 chain requires at least two players.
A 250 chain requires at least 4 players using 2 point refills each and careful DCD timing, but this pushes safety margins significantly.
A 250-chain with 4 people allows for only 2 missed hits before the chain breaks. This strategy requires all 4 players to use Max Stack with 2 point refills each; without these refills, achieving a 250-chain is not likely unless NAT E is utilized.
A 100-chain with 2 people allows for 24 missed hits if Max Stack 2 point refills are utilized. With 1 point refill, the same 100-chain allows for 12 missed hits.
A 50-chain with 1 person allows for 12 missed hits with 2 point refills, and 6 missed hits with Max Stack and 1 refill.

Also any script updates should also be checked, especially with less popular scripts. Lead score not fluctuating much but want to know when war will be over?
Maybe war is ALMOST over, but you want to know if you have it secured!
Loosing the war but you want to know how much time you have left to fight back?
Then this is the script for you!!
I have seen a couple other scripts that do just this, but one was bulky and the other does not allow checking other factions(especially helpful if you manage multiple factions or if you have an alliance)
At this time of posting Mon 21/07/25 This script is in ALPHA because I am the only one to have used it. I hope to move to BETA after cleaning the code up a bit and making necessary tweaks.
This script is written for Grease Monkey (Violentmonkey, Tampermonkey also Firemonkey) So far, I have only tested it in Grease Monkey.
Will the API key be stored securely and who can access it?
-Stored locally and not shared.
What key access level or specific selections are required?
-Full/Custom (access to users logs).
Please throttle the speed appropriately!! Especially if you are already making a lot of API calls. It is currently set to 5 seconds (~12 calls per minute) Which if ran 24 hours would be ~17,300 calls. The script does have a limit cap set at 5000 calls(customizable) Changing the 5.0 to 2.5 would be ~34,500 calls in 24hrs which is more than 14,500 over the daily limit. How long it takes depends on how often you buy items. You can stop the script at any time and re-run it to update what is there if you want to stop and resume at a later time, if you want to go further back in time, or update any new purchases. Currently you have to delete(or edit if you know what you are doing) the item_buys.csv if it goes too far back in time for your liking.
Now, with that out of the way! This script is external and uses RUBY so you need to have that installed, you will also need to install the library for the special characters "unicode_utils".
There is a readme file on github, but I will summarize it.
Three Files:
First one pulls your logs for items incoming (category 15) and filters purchases from bazaars and the market.
Second one reads the logs, summarizes it, and puts the information in a CSV file that you can open in any spreadsheet software like MS Excel or Google Sheets.
Third file is used by the second file to convert the item IDs to names so you know what's what.
If you know how to use sheets you can make a chart or do whatever you want with that information. Most likely it would be to see what you should be selling your items for to make a profit.
I understand the goal was to improve the resolution, which is great. But the new banner isn’t just sharper — it’s a completely different design.
The original purple lightning had a unique vibe and identity. If a high-res version isn’t possible, I’d really love to see the old design brought back someway.

My per user is helpful for seeing a particular persons averages to know who to hit and when along with when their big guys are on to turtle as needed(data is gathered using the faction api to lower api calls.) Also I wrote my script in ruby so maybe FAT could be more beneficial as long as you don't need to keep a page open. I have to keep my ruby console open(one per faction) and I manually(for the time being) split it every 7 days. For 14 people a 550kb file a week will start up adding up but I thank that will be fine.
It is smart of you to track everyone all the time but players tend to change up their play style when war happens. For example your chart of my online time does not seem to account for when we war and I stay up all night. Although you can certainly guess my timezone. As you can see from this graph, your chart is a bit off a bit.[image: i.imgur.com]

Sorry for the late reply everyone, but I appreciate all the input! For the time being I will change the API key to a password field(replace with stars or the like.) I will also look into removing the need for an API key entirely.
I can also see about making it PDA compatible. I haven't looked into that yet, but will now.
Also adding TCT time sounds smart and easily doable.
EDIT- Made changes, no more API key and added TCT end time Also I tested it in PDA, BorrFedick, and it does work!

Has anybody done this? Is this an okay script to make, rules wise?
Limitations are supposedly 100 calls per minute max 20k per day.
A quote from the Torn City Times : https://www.torn.com/newspaper.php#!/articles/2351
"This is just one of MANY applications that scripting has! You can set a script to look up a user profile every 5 minutes, and record their online status. Log that data into a spreadsheet, then use your data analytics skills to map out when they’re online/offline, habits and trends when flying, and how often they get mugged. Combine that data with a list of everyone's elimination team (also available via API) and you'll have yourself a literal map of when to stomp down a team and take their tickets."
