So my girlfriend has just signed up to TORN via my referral. We live in the same house so obviously we will have the same IP - will we get in trouble for multiple accounts? I mostly play at work which is a different IP that her account won't touch, but at home is different.
Does it really come down to just 'Don't do it'? That seems a bit unfair.
Ouch - I read someone recommended doing the drug crimes medal at ~35 nerve bar total, assuming you had the educations + completed career, what do you think?
As a newer player, my experience with Torn has been very positive. It's definitely one of the most polished and nice looking text RPG's I've played. The UI is fluid and great to look at, the android app (Which brought me to the game, despite me playing 90% on PC now) works great, the design of the website on both desktop and mobile browsers are awesome.
However, poker is definitely out of date, it feels completely different - like it hasn't been touched since mid - late 2000's. With everything else so polished, I do not think it's such a terrible idea that it's being worked on.
Regardless, I'm enjoying the game and logging in daily and will continue to do so. I think if a game has been running for what, 13-14 years? And they're still updating, trying new things releasing android apps, making sure the oldest parts of the game are up to speed - because EVERY part of the game is played - then I think they're doing a great job. Again, this is all first impressions without any previous biases.
On another note, just because money is coming in it doesn't mean things will magically happen. Processes need to be put in place, staff need to be trained, and building a team so quickly doesn't happen overnight.

Ah alright. So just play normally and don't basically just funnel all funds into one account or anything suspicious like that for example, and it will be fine.
