As the title says... I downloaded City Watch through Torn over a year ago. At some point I wiped my computer and needed to reinstall it. However comma, I was never able to find out how to download it, and I can't find the email that had the link in it. How do I get City Watch back so I don't have to keep chrome open, constantly?

I find that it only feels like I get more vicodin than xanax, as I tend to take notice more often when I don't like the outcome. I don't spend xanax unless my faction is under contract for revives, and I have about the same amount of them..

Well darn. I really, really liked that thing. Now I have to keep Chrome open with DoctorN in order to keep an eye on things, and it's just a resource hog.

Knowing nothing about coding, I bet someone could fairly easily program something that occasionally checks the market and notifies you of trends in whatever stocks you'd like to monitor. We have that in real life for real stocks; someone could probably use the more basic formulas from one of those to McGuyver something together. I know I'd be interested in it. Even just something you can set to notify you when X stock has reached price-point Y or Z would be wonderful.

I'm trying to figure out why this is something we want punished in a game like Torn. It's just like the situation with the guys who had their money stripped over the bookies scandal; why - in a game about organized crime - are we punishing the people who find and exploit harmless loop-holes to their advantage without breaking any laws? That's so organized crime, it talks in a bad Italian accent. Close the loop-hole, fine. But punishing the people who found it? That in and of itself violates the 'spirit' of the game.

I feel like if anything, healers are a tiny bit more honest as a whole, because that's where all the people like me who feel bad for doing mean things in a video game tend to end up. We aren't the shady sort, and I tend to go so far as to only mug abandoned accounts unless it's a faction war.. I think the only shady thing I do as a healer, is when a (relatively) high level hits one of my friends, I mug them, revive them, attack and leave them, revive, attack and hospitalize, all with no stealth. I feel like the 'I'm only resurrecting you so I can kill you, again - 'leave my level 4 friend alone, you're level 25.' tactic sends a very specific message. Usually that message is 'sic your whole faction on me' though, so what do I know?

Merits, for sure. The travel blurb says it takes about 6.7 years to take all available courses. Merits you pick up easy just half-assedly playing the game take 20% off total education time; that's why it's the FIRST thing I went for, because that equates to 5.52 years, or 1.18 years less studying. That's 430 days.

Torn is what I wanted Mafia Wars to be back when Myspace wasn't just where bands went to die. I wish I'd known about it, then.

Staff are representative of the game. You're expected to hold a certain restraint and some modicum of professionalism. Your displays in global, some of which violate the rules, show that this is not an ability you have at this time.
