curious though, why are revives recorded by the client and not also handled server side like the payments?

taking a look at the script, the algo seems to produce recommendations from stock indicators fully locally - so the API handling should be fully secure (unless the user shares the script with their API key in it)

What is the legality regarding scripts that move buttons to the user cursor?
According to Chedburn,
The use of scripts, extensions, applications or any other kind of software is allowed only if it uses data from our API or a page you (or your users) have loaded manually and are currently viewing. They cannot make additional non-API requests to Torn, scrape pages that you're not currently viewing, or attempt to bypass the captcha. If the software you're using makes non-API requests that are not manually triggered by you, it is not allowed and can be tracked.
Moving buttons to the user's cursor can make players much faster in-game and still is manually triggered. Not sure if I answered my own question but I'm not 100% sure. If it's allowed then players can just "automate" actions by making a script to move desired buttons to cursor and just spamming them
