I first heard of this game from an old radio show, the idea is that you bid on an item, but the lowest unique bid wins… It made for an interesting game then, so maybe it will work well here, the rules are as follows;
Everyone will be bidding on an item - No Item Currently Send me an amount of money that equals the sum of your bids (not a mail) with the message ‘BID + [Your Numbers]’ then post 'Sent' on this thread, and whoever sends the LOWEST UNIQUE amount will win. NOTE - If you do not post 'Sent' on this forum your bid may not be counted!
You can make multiple bids at once - i.e. You were sent $5132 from PLAYERX with the message: BID - 50, 952, 967, 1065, 2098
If the bids were as follows; $1, $1, $1, $2, $2, $4, $4, $16, $21, $250 The person who sent $16 in would win as they had the lowest number that no one else sent in. The cut off point will be 04/02/2020 at 1700 TCT. If this game gets interest then I will do more in the future. Post any questions below, but keep your numbers to yourself or someone might steal it. You can make up to 5 entries per game (any past that will not be counted), so think of it like picking your lottery numbers, except the winnings are more than everyone is putting in! If you played the last round you can play again this round as well!
Obviously I am not doing this game for profit but for a bit of fun for all. Tips in any form to help fund the game are welcome, but are entirely discretionary and will in no way affect your odds of winning. Everyone is welcome to play!
You sent a Can of Munster to BeaconMC with the message: Winner of the Lowest Bid Competition with a Bid of $14! You sent a Bottle of Kandy Kane to Pils with the message: First person to try and bet $0... gotta reward the initiative ;) You sent some Xanax to LordOfPears with the message: Winner of the Lowest Bid Competition with a Bid of $4! You sent a Bottle of Kandy Kane to BeaconMC with the message: First person to try and bet a decimal number... gotta reward the initiative ;)
Not a bad idea for future perhaps if I need a way of funding it, for now I'm happy to keep it almost free to play as I just want to do it as a bit of fun for everyone :)
Is there a maximum amount of job points you can spend on the Game Shop perk Overpowered (+1 nerve, +5 Energy, +50 Happiness) like some others or is it unlimited? Wondering for stacking E and getting the merit. Thanks :)
Company centered around the idea of stocks. I know a stock company was suggested previously, but the perks suggested were very OP - so instead here's some potential perks that are for illustration purposes, obviously they would need to be carefully balanced, but that are more in keeping with other companies (and of course not all of these would be implemented).
Exchange JPs for a random amount of a random stock (effectively a cash payout) Passive effect that reduces all stock buying prices by X% (a very small amount) Passive that reduces the stock sell fee by X% Boost all monetary stock payouts by X% JP special that works similar to the Paralegal special - a random active player gets a small amount of stocks and you get cash or exp.
Any other suggestions welcome, it's more the concept of a stock company I like the idea as so much effort has gone into reworking that area of the game, rather than specific perks.
Does anyone know the odds of getting candy, alcohol and e-cans from Halloween treat exchanges? And the chance of it being low, medium or high tier please?
I'm working on a spreadsheet for the ROI of each upgrade and can't find this information - I was sure there was a forum post with it in but I can't seem to find it now. Any assistance is much appreciated!
