To be fair. While I was in the army deployed to iraq a lot of the people there use that stance (but a waving motion up and down) to greet or wave goodbye. Some even used it as a dismissing motion to show they didn't agree during a public discussion.

I got him to sit and watch the new voltron for a bit. But he's just not ready for that lol he was still talking about paw patrol and blaze
