This achievement says significantly more about the criminal strength of my peers and the tenacity of our OC planner than it does of myself, but still, I'm thrilled to have been pulled through a successful PA at 45 NNB and 434 days old! Hopefully this might be useful for other planners etc.

I'm back after a pretty long disconnect. Loads of things have changed in Torn, but one thing still intact is the ability of Torn players to spin a good yarn.
Back when I was a n00b someone told me that there was a certain building on the city map that if you clicked on it, it would instantly pay out $1b. The building changed every hour, so you had to persevere. Which I did. Until I realized I'd been hazed.
The other myth I heard was that Taylor Swift played Torn but her pseudonym was a closely guarded secret.
Likewise, a faction buddy told me that if you sold a certain sequence of items from your bazaar in a certain order some mystery button (?) would appear.
Obviously most (all) of this is junk, but I'd love to hear other rumours, myths, conspiracy theories and wild conjecture! I might even try to write it up for the newspaper for that elusive 'journalism' merit, so if you'd rather keep your crazy machinations secret then please fire over a message.

Once again I've jumped feet first into something and found myself overwhelmed. After some awesomely entertaining (and dubiously truthful) chats about Torn myths and legends, I find myself trying to prove or disprove a couple of the wildest.
Here's the premise; if I can rustle up a sufficient quantity of bricks I can build a castle. Or a pyramid. Or a BBQ depending on who you ask. Either way you shake it, I need 1,000,000 bricks, and as happy as I am to buy those ten at a time from bazaars, if you happen to have a stash of bricks you don't want and fancy donating to my masonry cause, please send them over - I'll be thrilled to take them off your hands!

Well, I'm at 5,000 bricks (thank you to those who sent some over). As the option to convert said 5,000 bricks into a small outdoor toilet or BBQ hasn't appeared, I assume the castle is an all-or-nothing thing.
So, onwards! Maybe at the end of this experiment I can set up Torn's first builder's merchants. We'll call it Bricks 'n Bobs or something. 😂

I'm resurrecting something that went stale a few months back; long story short, I started with a pair of green trainers and through a series of swaps hope to get as close to a Gold AK-47 as possible. The current item is a Drug Pack! from dunmugmeh [538353] who wasn't sure of the precise origin of the drug pack, but a little digging on my behalf uncovered that it was overlooked when border agents in San Diego arrested and searched an 81-year old woman after they found 34 heroin packages weighing 92 pounds in her apartment last year. These are STEALTH DRUGS folks, they're INVISIBLE to the cops, anyone care to swap up?!
Hello Mephesto...I have basically zero understanding of coding etc. so I appreciate that it might be a nightmare! I just thought it'd be a cool thing without having any idea how hard it would be to do! xD
