Serious question. Why is it everyone on the left, including the LGBTQ+ community, is "you have the right to your opinion. Unless it goes against mine. Then you're a bigot."
Like for example, I'm at a gas station. A gay couple is in front of me in line. They kiss. I avert my eyes to give them privacy, but they take it as a sign of disapproval. They proceed to tell me that because I don't like what I saw that I'm a bigot.
Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they all stink. Just because I don't agree with something doesn't mean that I hate it. Like for real, I am against abortion unless the life of the mother is at risk. Do I hate women that have gotten an abortion? No. I hate the act of murdering innocent babies, but I don't hate you for having an opinion that differs from mine. Let's all just grow up, talk like adults, act like adults, and determine who's right and who's wrong in a civil manner. All this shit-slinging has to end. The only thing that comes from violence is destruction, not a solution.
It seems to me like everyone would be happy with a Pyrrhic solution. If you don't know what that means, look it up. I would rather see a true solution. Whether it's to keep abortion legal or not, a solution is a solution.
