How come no one who says that costs are going to go way up bring up the fact that capitalism is alive and well in the US. When the supply and demand ratio tips the scale toward higher prices due to the tarrifs, you dont think someone in the US will step up and start producing more (ketchup?) since now the competition isnt so one sided for the Chinese? Keep in mind the tarrifs we are putting in still dont come close to equalling out with the tarrifs being placed on us. Plus, now you will see other countries start to do what American companies did, only in reverse. Now all of a sudden it becomes profitable for them to move their production to the US.... Which means more jobs
