Seeing the cards at the end of a hand and what everyone has is too important to be over in the blink of an eye. It's nearly impossible to read our opponent's hands, especially with multiple players in a showdown. Can you please slow down the cards and give enough ample time so we can see everyone's holdings? It provides valuable information as well for later hands. I'd also like to see what I've won against/lost to to give me a better idea of how to adjust my play. Thanks bunches.
Yesterday I played for about six hours, with a winning session. Unfortunately, my poker score didn't increase any. I just wanted to make the Devs aware in case it hasn't been brought to their attention yet. I was playing with the intent of earning the Poker King merit. Is it safe to assume any progress I hypothetically would have made yesterday is lost, or is there a way to recover the values? I'm ignorant when it comes to coding matters. Thanks a bunch!
Hit and run is a solid tactic. Yeah, it's frowned upon in the poker community, but we've all done it. Hell, I've done it and I've played professionally for several years. A win is a win; book them when at all possible. In real life, I'll change tables if I've got a sense for the overall playing dynamics shifting, up or down, let alone after a big pot. The game is way too fluid to treat it any other way.
Not a scam. It's similar to staking in real life. That said, I would want to look at your ROI time frame horizon, ROR Index, and other professional poker charts and algorithms that I've used for the last 11 years before making a plunge. There are also questions that need answers if you're going to successfully market this. Are you professional in real life? Semi-pro? How many years have you been playing? What about books and resources that you've used to better yourself and your play. It's troublesome that you'd even mention luck in your initial marketing post, as most solid players know luck plays only a small variable over time. I applaud your efforts and tenacity. Instead of staking, what about charging for lessons? It looks a little more positive on the surface. Good luck at the tables.

Why don't you just build it up through poker again? 90% of my networth has come through cards. Granted, I used to play for a living, but if you have the talent, it wouldn't take more than a bankroll of 200m to sit down at Periodic. Granted, a 10% ROR index is ill-advised, but one decent night and you could take a shot at Pound It. Wash rinse repeat until you have a shot at Cat's which plays more like traditional casino poker. Just a thought. If you're rusty and need refreshers, hit me up. I've made $1,500 USD at the casino the last week over 4 sessions playing NL 1-2. My worst session was -$95. Hope this helps and good luck.
Yeah, could we consider doing the time traveler merit, please? That would be a neat way to earn it, and it doesn't seem like it's been triggered in a while. Would help the merit hunters.
I'm so sorry for your losses :( My deepest sympathies and condolences.

I've got a good one for y'all! Make only your tickets visible. Everyone else's tickets is a mystery, and during the final minute before a life is lost, the standings become hidden until the life is lost.

Card counting, no. Strategy matrix. Completely different. But card counting is actually brilliant. That said, card counting isn't perfect and just because the count is in your favor, doesn't mean the appropriate card you're looking for is going to be dealt.
Once car racing resumes because of this damn virus. I agree 100%, I'd make a killing gambling on nascar and indycar.
Ever since the change where the deck is reshuffled after every hand, strategy has gone out the window. It's complete chance now and that isn't how blackjack is played. Can you imagine if an actual casino shuffled after every single hand? Well, yes actually; because we're living it here every time we play. Please consider coding it for six or eight decks, and to reshuffle after burning through so many cards. Allow us to actually have a chance in the long run. I'm tired of hands I'm always going to lose regardless of if I hit or stand. Thanks.
Bookie 2.0 is implemented and the 10m limit has been usurped. Hey, I can dream, right? Lol!
Thanks so much everyone. Greatly appreciated :)
Hi! Please help?
I know this has probably been posted several times over, so I apologize profusely for that. That said, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong to earn the high credit rating. I've had a loan taken out for months and months on end. I've tried maxing it, paying all the fees, paying it down a bit, taking out more, paying it off, and anything/everything else in between. I'm even going as far as to focus on the 18 nerve hacking crime to increase my maximum loan amount. I'm just over 400 days old and I'm stumped. What am I missing? It's getting frustrating lol. Thanks so much everyone.

Please let parlays be implemented. If I wanna risk 50m on a 7 team parlay to hit it huge for my Torn career, so be it. No guts, no glory.
When using the "all" command, as opposed to typing an exact amount, to pay back Duke for a loan, it gives the default insufficient funds message "You do not have X to pay back that amount."

I've only gotten to page two to read about what's going on, but a lot of you are idiots. This isn't a "bug." In real life, you monitor the adjusting lines across all available books and make appropriate bets to hedge. If done properly, you make money regardless of the outcome by betting on both teams at their longest odds, calculating the equity you'd need to put forward to generate a profit. "OoOoOhHh NoOoOo Itssss AAA BUG!!11!!" No. It's how professional sport gamblers make their money. Go visit Las Vegas some time. It'll learn ya a thing or two. Smh.
How about a nerve option to essentially hijack the commercial plane? Make it a crazy high fail rate and about 20n. Could add merits for it.
