Hey, I understand that this is a huge amount considering your level and experience here. Don't get intimidated or let down by the lack of support, it's just that it's way too common here and you'll soon grow to realize.
Its okay. Learn from this, understand how stuff works and move on. Have fun.
Everyone who's against Crimes 2.0 in this thread has just one common reason to not move on - Money. It's such a weak factor to even consider when you compare the dynamics of both the versions.
It seems as if you all know very well that Crimes 2.0 is indeed fun and awesome but you just don't want to say it out loud because initially you called it out saying its a dumb move and you want to stand by your word no matter what, trying to make intricate comparisons using really unnecessary units of measuring its economic value.
You guys do get it. Crimes 2.0 is fresh, its interesting, theres a sense of mystery and much more than just clicking the mouse numerous times. It's just that the you're trying so hard to stay true to the statements you initally made, by using money as a factor, as if it's causing a huge meltdown in your economic stability. You're here to have fun guys.
Loosen up, heal and accept the truth you egositic f**ks.
Duke's like an elephant. He ain't never forget nothin. I know yous owe me money, and just like an elephant I'm gonna smack you in the face with my trunk till I get it.
It's pretty well-defined in White Mode. When it comes to dark mode, the colors inner shade arent as prominent because of the black bg. Try taking a look in white mode, you'll defo find a good difference.
Even though it's not a great idea, the kind of ideas you have come up with is pretty neat and subtle. IF, and ONLY IF Torn decides to do this, this form of advertising would be a pretty neat way. Instead of ad banners just popping up on our faces or going through a 30 sec to 1 min long video, providing limited slots on items as logos, on slots or similar ideas which dosen't impact the player's experience, THIS form of advertising is could be the best way to do so, IF the scenario pops up.
We hate advertising because its loud and it gets in the way, causing a disturbance. This is neat.
+1 for the interesting way of looking at it. Good for a healthy discussion. Maybe you could reframe it by saying "IF Torn decided to generate AD Revenue and you have to just bend over and take it, how should it be implemented"
