We should be able to buy/sell/trade upgraded race cars! I can't begin to understand why this isn't a thing. The only reason I can think of that justifies not having the ability is to keep things relatively fair? But if that is the case, perhaps you can adjust the way driver skill works? Put an invisible skill level requirement in there to safely drive a car with X number of upgrades?
(as if Torn city officials are suddenly worried about fairness! [] )
I'm not doing anything with the cars I've used. I'm all about dolla dolla bills ya'll, so I suggest I should be able to sell them. If some poor schmuck wants to get started in racing and thinks he can handle my sexy class E car with 12 points, what do I care if he goes down in a ball of flames after paying me 2 million for it (due to .01 experience when he reeeaaally needed .25)?
Or, maybe someone spent his upgrade points all wrong and can't place in any races? He would probably pay good money if he could buy a car that has the upgrades he wished he'd done. It may or may not make a difference, I have a feeling driver skill plays a fairly large role in race placement, but who cares? He wants to pay me 15 million for something I'm not using!
So I've been around for a while, but I haven't played in a good long while. I see there have been a few changes.
I've got 1,500 points, I see the point market is pretty low right now, but I remember there was another place to sell them for like a fixed price, where is that place?
I don't know the terms for all this but I'm trying to sell off up to 180,000 shares of YAZ at somewhere between $55-$57 a pop. I've had it on the market for several days now but apparently you can't give these things away!

Yeah, a new restaurant, with a first time owner. Fortunately a very receptive guy, but wealthy and clueless.
When I first got into consulting, it was very slow moving, and I got really discouraged. I would help one restaurant develop a HACCP plan, another restaurant had me fill out permit paperwork... a lot of small, no followup sort of jobs. I just stuck with it, researched local restaurants, did mailouts (still dont have a website), networked... finally, I started getting gigs that were a little more involved. Evaluating expenses, redeveloping menus, and it just kept going. People started contacting me because they couldn't figure out why something wasn't working, etc.
Where at in NC? I've been in the business for close to 20 years, and yeah, I have two daughters. I got into consulting about two years ago so I could spend more time at home (not to mention, my blood pressure.... ****ing servers)
Anyway, I'm just south of Raleigh. I'm working on launching a new concept, we're at that crunch point where everything is falling into place...
