I'm gay but I see both sides here. If stuntmonkeyy wants to create a thread for people to talk about their coming out stories or just chat, that's cool. If a faction wants to be friendly, or not, that's up to them. It doesn't mean every faction has to put in their information whether or not they approve. If they want to, by all means. I tried to search the newspaper for woman seeking woman and my search came back with 0. I also play the boy/girl add game and there's a good number of guys on here. I'm sure there's an official stat. This game is about crime, where the wars aren't related to personality. I'd say that a majority of people on here are either friendly, included, or don't care who's who, they're just here to enjoy the game.
So for all of the people commenting pretty rudely, it's just a game. And to Stuntmonkeyy, it's just a game.
I am fairly new to Torn but I follow all of the news and announcements. I'm not a creative writer or comic creator so when it comes to complete unbiased facts, I'd be a great candidate. I have an excel document dedicated to Torn. I copied a lot of the information off of the wiki page such as education classes, travel options, trade calculations, honors and awards that I have currently gotten. There have been a few times I have looked for information and couldn't find it in the wiki. I also have noticed a "(?)" and some blanks on a few other pages. I think honestly, my favorite page to edit would be the honors and awards. I update my document every new announcement with the new merit. I also have always wanted to give to the community but I'm too lazy to leave the house so this is perfect for me..

"You are being rate limited. We have detected an unusually high number of requests per minute directed towards the logged-out areas of TORN originating from your IP address. Please check any software or scripts you (or others on your IP address) are using."
My friend (who can't currently log in obviously) got this message while opening the Torn app for the first time in 19 hours. She has a ZTE cricket android if that matters but she definitely doesn't have any software or scripts and never logs out.
Does anyone know how long this will last or why it happened?
