I donated 98,999,950 to the church to get the new honor, not sure if it's because it was such a large donation but I got the "you may as well not have come" response. Maybe he got too used to all the 100m donations today and started becoming a brat?
Wow 2 years! I honestly can't believe I've made it this far! I believe my 2nd year was quite possibly more successfull than my 1st! I've got COVID to thank for that! ?? This year started out rough, I was already spending a lot of time away from torn, not even logging in to train or do crimes, then my faction leader finally made me start participating, that was around covid time so it made it a lot easier to spend hours on here when you're stuck at home! Which has led to some eventful times, i eventually made it to the faction senate, my (former) home faction went from 25 to 250 chain and it grew immensely in that time! What was a faction of 8ish people grew to more than 20 active members! After that another faction member bought a faction and invited me to co-lead it, that lasted for about 3 months and ultimately we decided to merge with another faction, after being abandoned by our previous home faction, being a co-lead and a leader at times really showed me what it takes to run a faction (even a small one!) It gave me much more appreciation for all the faction leaders and co-leaders out there! It takes some serious time and dedication not only to run a faction but to grow one! After all that I ended up moving on to my current faction, and hopefully my home from now on! My responsibilities are less, and im taking the time to figure out all the stuff I've missed the past 2 years! Also taking the time to train my stats as much as possible! In the past year I've grown my stats from 10m to 150m (hoping to be at at least 400m by next year) my networth from 2b to 3b and im sitting at 199 awards! I remember when I first started playing this game most of my playtime in the first few weeks was on the toilet at work, reading in the forums about people who have played for years not believing id become one of them, but here I am and im here to stay! Hopefully this year will bring my 2nd time joining elimination, and possibly I'll buy a business! Thanks for taking the time to hear me ramble, its players like you and me that keep this game online and great! Hopefully I'll have more to say next year!
Today I made it to a whole year in torn! Nothing much to brag about but when I first started playing I'd look through here and read what people accomplished their first year and it always kept me going! Plus I'd really like a way to compare my progress over the years! I started playing torn when I downloaded some app and torn showed up as an app other people had downloaded so I gave it a try, my first 2 weeks here was exclusively just playing it in the bathroom at work, I almost quit because I really didn't understand it too much (shout-out to "cable" he broke me out of jail, and gave me some Xanax, which I ended up selling and buying a chalet with it, which ended up being the one thing that kept me playing!) Since then I've gotten to almost 10m stats ( my goal was supposed to be at least 20m but I kinda slowed down for a good 6 months) mostly balanced, a little over 30,000 job stats (I've almost spent a whole year at my company as well!) almost 14,000 crimes, and a networth around the 2b range! So far I've met a lot of people here and learned a lot about other countries outside my own, my goal for the next year is to try to be as active as I was my first 5 months playing! Thanks to the entire torn community, you guys are what make this game, and probably the only reason most people continue to play!
So theres a book in the mission point market and when I click on it it will show information on the book, but when I try to scroll down it will close immediately making it almost impossible to see what the book does, and its effects, I found if I scroll on the very edge of my screen (at times it wont work because Samsung is well known for making screens that cant detect touches on the very edge of the screen) which could make it really annoying for other users trying to see more information on whatever item they're looking at, I only see a problem with books, because they have so much text but it will still close if you try to look at how much is in circulation etc. This is on the android app
Honestly, not much time at all, most of my time on here is spent training, crimes, chaining, etc. And the rest is spent in discord, sometimes ill spend like 6 hours in a week on torn, and sometimes just an hour a week!

It's honestly pretty cool to read about this, everyone makes mistakes and this is a good example of that, a whole multiplayer game was shut down for 12 hours because the almighty ched fell asleep without turning on the servers, kinda makes me feel better when I screw up in my own life! I think we should make this a holiday and celebrate! Every December 8th at 15:30TCT everyone should receive a complementary energy and nerve refill! Can we call it "National **** up day?"

They're not bad! But when I logged in (it was like 20 mins after I last logged in with the old icons) I saw it looked different and got excited thinking my NNB went up, nope, but I like the new icons!
In the U.S. Labor Day is celebrated on the first Monday in September. What if we cut regeneration on Energy and Nerve by 50%? 5 minutes every 5E for donators and 7.5 for non-donaters, and 2 1/2 minutes for nerve. We could have it in September or a different agreed upon date, I understand the U.S. is one of the few to celebrate it this late.
Since I'm in the 10 energy gyms a lot of times I get stuck with 5E before I go to bed, use a refill, fhc etc. So I do a dump search to slowly get to the merit without feeling like I'm wasting all that E
