House of the dragon sucks COMPARING TO GoT
GoT had interesting storyline, interesting assets like dragons, white walkers, cults, war, of course politics
Each and every character was different and intriguing ,almost none felt like some side character with no backstory or no intriguing feel to them etc
House of the dragon on the other hand has some 10 main characters following almost same character design, only one or two ppl stand out as different or intriguing
it only and only have Politics of a royal family
5eps and 95% of the story is just about a father who is trying not to be a failure, even tho he is a king
Kings are supposed to be strong characters worthy of the title , atleast when not talking about real life but fantasy storyline
Edit: Its a Targaryen King Dude... i mean okaay, Kings can suck sometimes, but Why would you open show with the Main Character King as a boring old ass. Takes away all the charm when your expecting someone worthy of the title Targaryen
just a basic boring story and ppl watching it just in hopes it may get better otherwise, its just bs politics thrown to viewers
EDIT: Ppl say it just kinda suck till mid season, after that it fires up and has a pretty good final episode
