People can rile us up for all you want, I personally think that going for 3rd is one of the better outcomes here for us MH.
Considering our firepower and the fact that many of us are first-timers without the necessary net-worth or stats to back up our participations, going straight for first and duke it out wasn't necessarily a plausible choice. Sure, perhaps leaders could have gone for any sort of extraordinary maneuver to grab that first place and such outstanding planning might be in the spirit of Elimination. However, I do think that this sort of nice balance between activity and rewards will motivate many first timers to train harder, earn more $$$ (without fed-warranted activities plz), and overall be eager to come back to Elim next year, which would be a better scenario than dumping can, xans, and FHC only to get a likely worse position.
To our high stat and/or heavy hitters who weren't content with settling for 3rd, I can totally sympathize with your sentiment. I can't say anything beyond just hoping that you'd get team leaders who fit your goals/visions. Balancing Elim is a pain in the ass to be fair, so there's no guarantee that you won't end up like Peasants or Heavyweights, holding your head high while getting absolutely smashed by the flips and flops of alliances. Whatever fits.
posted a few days ago but got too busy to reply back to you all. still in need of a company, prefer stable trains over daily wage. active daily so you don't have to worry about that.
