With my Fibromyalgia and Kitty's Arthritis it still takes both of us to get the Torn Christmas dinner centerpiece done. This one started with screen shots taken last year and actual work started just after closing our Black Friday sales. This one truly beat the Santa Snot out of us. With two cakes, two cookies, three icings,, chocolate trees, and modeling chocolate decor we give you our 100% edible homage to Christmas Town!
Everything was made from scratch. We made the modeling chocolate, grated carrots for the carrot cake and even cooked sugar to hard crack to pour the lake.
One day I remembered how much fun old text based games could be. I've been gaming all the way back to the original Atarii (yes I'm old). I stumbled into Torn and gave it a try. Funny to find this thread now because I found Torn about two days before the Egg event started a few years ago. I talked my daughter into giving it a try. It took a few days to convince her.
What keeps me coming back is the challenge of gameplay, my faction, family enjoyment and Christmas Town.
