long time lurker, first time poster.

Why in Satan's name are pages not viewable during a hospitalization?
I may have gotten my head caved in but I should still be able to at least view things. Are we all just put into comas when hospitalized?
I can kind of see the logic if you are jailed, but hell even then convicts have access to Facebook in there.

whatever the reason is for this God forsaken decision it should be changed.
introduce a job perk or an item, give the laptop or cellphone some real purpose.
You want members to be active, stop locking away half the damn game for large chunks of time to the player base.

isn't my job as a player and customer to compile things that have been frequently addressed.

maybe I could be pointed in the direction of where something like that is? (actual question)

I can't touch a stripper but ill still go.

there is value in interacting strictly through viewing. however, miniscule in value that may seem to some.

or maybe I just like window shopping?

either way it's been made quite clear by the forums "elite" that I have overstepped in my opinion and should be tarred and feathered for my transgressions.

actually a little counter point to whether torn would have e commerce or not. cyber crimes exist?

but then this is a grtting into a different conversation about torns larger issue of in world interactivity.

100% those are fair points and reasoning for why things are currently the way they are.

in the end this is a game, and it's honestly not a make or break just something I see as more limiting than it needs to be.

in game we have laptops and cellphones which provide little to no use, Torn should join the modern world and make use of them.

You and i have different opinions on whats pointless. but If you believe that having a non interactive viewmode is pointless in the actionable sense, then what's the argument for simply letting that be possible?

Ah yes, I would love to go and touch grass or do something productive but you see, i am stuck on the toilet with explosive diarrhea and I believe Torn could do more to help distract from this hell.

and that's exactly what I want. explain it away that you're looking at online stores using laptop or cell phone. give some items use and value. whatever in game explanation required.

it would just be nice to spend the last 10min of my hosp I can't med out of, browsing instead of closing the game and setting a timer.

now this is the type of forward and innovative thinking this game needs.
