I enjoy the challenge of setting goals for myself and then actually reaching them. One of the best parts of this game for me is being a part of an awesome faction and the feeling after the entire team completes a really long chain. Even though it is just a game I look forward to the different milestones I can reach, as well as seeing my progress improve when I put in the effort. I try to just have fun and remember that if I do reach a point where it just isn't fun anymore, then the great part of this game is that I can always take a break and return.

I'd start with reading through some of the guide's/tutorial's available on the forum. You can gain a wealth of knowledge if you just spend some time reading and checking out the wiki is also helpful.

Hiring for a bounty reveal

This is not exactly a question that can be answered with any one specific answer/reason in particular. I can only speak for myself as every other player could only do as well. When I discovered Torn I remember thinking even from day one, I knew I would be playing from then on for a long time. I was getting tired of all the other games I had been playing because they were all Pay-to-Win, or ended up with the gameplay consisting of this constant cycle of waiting for every level/building/or whatever else to upgrade and countdown the timers. They also included pointless missions that could be set to auto-play themselves, literally requiring no thought at all. No achievements, nothing to look forward to, and very impersonal. Finding Torn changed everything, where suddenly I was playing a game that I felt excited about and I could really immerse myself into this new world that also awakened new motivation for me to set my own goals to work towards. And I have been playing ever since. Still, I consider myself still very new and very inexperienced, with now about a month away from reaching my first year anniversary. I love that there are many different game roles you can work towards depending on your play style and different directions you can choose to go depending on what you enjoy doing in the game. Torn is all about putting in the time and effort to progress and achieve goals, which is a big reason why I find it enjoyable to play every day. I have fun reading guides, progressing through battle/work stats, merit chasing, and chaining with my faction. It is a game played in the long run, where it's not about rushing to get to some kind of instant gratification or Game Over. But rather is meant for players to enjoy the journey and have fun with the ability to choose exactly the kind of experience you want to play.

I have seen TOOL three times live and they are incredibly amazing. You def won't regret seeing them and Yes! seeing them perform is worth any wait in my opinion.
