A real dirty bomb has a more lasting effect than the temporary inconveniences that we experience in Torn. Everyone suffers for a bit but the loss of respect is usually not important to the large factions that are being targeted.

I'd like to suggest that for the faction that is targeted with a DB that when the bomb goes off they lose control of a piece of territory. That territory becomes 'irradiated' for a period of time and cannot be claimed.

I think this will allow dirty bombs to have a more lasting effect and make them more useful in territory strategy.
