I stand outside the tavern and take a moment to stare at it, inspecting it for no particular reason. It seemed decent enough.
I walk inside and I have already prepared myself for any attention that I may bring. The ends of my hair are white, looking quite old as if I haven't been to the salon in a while. My natural hair color is black and that was the dominant color. My eyes are two distinct colors so that would draw some attention too; my left eye was black and the right one was a milky white to light gray color. It was unusual but I don't like to blend into the crowd.
I make my way to the bar and I take a sit next to another woman who looks like someone I do not want to mess with. I am a small fish in the big pond and I will get eaten if I don't tread carefully. I wait to be served.
